Problem. Dropping the shark on the nice pygmy's head when there's a vampire pygmy running around (dropping the shark when above the pygmy)- iPhone freezes and goes back to the menu. tried it three times and it freezes and goes back to the menu. The shark's mouth is open and there is no pygmy because the vampire pygmy knocked the others off. I tried this and the pygmy with the shark on its head was running around and then disappeared with the shark hanging.
OK I'm way too slow to drop the shark on the nice pygmy it seems. The vampire is too fast at kicking the nice ones off. I tried to call the bat, hold the shark with one finger, tap to make all pygmies dance so they don't get kicked off in a flash, then drop the shark,... and nothing (abnormal) happens. Now I see on the second pic you have hidden the moon. Is that part of the bug scenario? when do you make the sun rise? (vampire has not disintegrated (yet) on your picture... )
I just pulled the trigger last night. Great app. I don't know if its been suggested already but how about a bottle washing up on shore with a message in it. With all the users out there, perhaps they could submit proposed messages and you (dave) could select your 25 of your favs to use.
sorry dave... But it will rise again. Besides a five dollar basketball app isn't going to hold it's ground for too long, but I think we will become like touchgrind. Eventually. Wait is the update coming today?
Sorry about the second picture... I posted that so they can see the shark's open mouth frm the other one. After one of the Pygmies becomes a vampire start dragging the shark away from the vampire Pygmy (best if opposite the Pygmy from the side). Hold on to the shark then start adding pygmies (they might land where the shark is held from) then drop the shark before the vampire Pygmy comes. It might take at least two tries depending on the vampire Pygmy. It freezes and it goes back to the iPhone home menu.
Dear davecazz, I have enjoyed Pocket God. It is true that its not a five star app at this moment, but the potential it has makes it so much more believable that it is. Its an amazing app deserving the #1 spot on the store, but as you can see it has happened already and is now in spot #2. I dont think it will last that much longer on the top 10. just think, in 3 months it will probably be #30. Not because its not a great app but eventually most of the people who would buy it have bought it already, making the sales go down. I have read this thread, and the ideas people have had. I would just hate for the potential this app has to go down the drain, even if you stopped after 3 months of weekly updates. Thats just not enough. (I would like to see who does not agree with me!) Now my idea is for those who want more out of Pocket God, after the sales go down and software update 3.0 comes out obviously, you make a subscription fee of $0.99 Bi-Monthly. You still have weekly updates, every other week Pocket God fans can chose to buy 8 more updates, you would keep raking in the cash to make this app better and better, we the people will be much more satisfied with the density of the product, and this will go down in history as one of the most amazing apps ever made (and still being made). I would 100% pay for every update, I just would not pay lets say every week... too pricy! But Bi-Monthly or maybe even monthly (depending on how much is in each update) would be awesome! Every update would add something new. New clothes to buy, new hair style, type of money, new islands, mini games to earn money, health, hunger bars, name our villagers, and just an all out sim like or animal crossing like experience! Awesome... I hope I made sense and thank you again for making this awesome app. Just because its not number 1 doesn't mean you still can't make money off of this, and make it better for us!
