Assisting & Advocating As many of you know, Nimblebit (with the advent of Tiny Tower) opened their own "Support Forum." Most of the questions are about TT, as anticipated, but there are enough about PF to make it worth checking out. You regulars here represent a wealth of knowledge about the game - you know way more than I do & I was still able to help someone. It felt good. Plus I'm trying to act as an advocate for those experiencing problems. Yes, yes, there is a lot of whining & complaining in that forum but, if you can get beyond that to the people who genuinely need help, it may be worth a few minutes of your time. The support thread here on TA has not been as helpful to me as I would have hoped because NOW the devs + one employee are charged with addressing the issues in their new forum, not here. No, I haven't deserted this thread. Not at all. Just have no 100% of the 'dex aspirations so have to split my reduced time for fun - both online & with PF, that's all. And to all a goodnight.

I never cease to be amazed & delighted with the generosity of people here towards virtually everyone. Rarely in life does one find such selflessness in giving, never expecting anything in return. In that vein, I'd like to thank all the people who have gifted me over the past days: Shashta, Shortbus, Andi, & Nirtew. Plus an extra special thanks to Dom, who gifted me (among other things) my Request frog & to Quossum, who long ago, by the spontaneous gift of frog required for Reward, was my first contact in this forum. That simple gift of a Serpentis, way back when, was the reason I persisted in this game & was totally won over by this site. Take care all. Be well.

Whoa, Dom! You won't get rid of me that easily. That was no obit I wrote, just a simple message. I was commenting on the feelings of the moment & closed the way I close many personal emails (vs. forum messages) I write. Never even crossed my mind that it could be interpreted as implying that I was leaving this thread. My post ended with an "Au revoir," not an "Adieu."
