I had a request bug that Lisianne experienced. I used potions to mature a Veru but when I sent the request my potions counter did not change ( I would've got around 20 potions as a reward). I hope devs have a look at that.
uhh what? so you used some potions to age a froglet. then?? you sent request to what or whom for what or why... i don't get it. like so green tingo veru at 22 hours... you have 10 potions... so you use one which takes it to 16 hours and potions show 9... and so on. but when you did it the froglet aged but potions didn't decrease? if that's a bug it's a good one well for us maybe not for pf if they want peeps to buy potions though they still have ridiculous pricing so i can't imagine anyone shelling out hard earned money for them at the structure they currently use. but then maybe i'm just too cheap. soapbox moment... one veru is 22 stamps .. a basic pack is 99 cents for 10 stamps. umm what is wrong with that picture? that's more than 3 bucks for ONEfroglet. really? what planet do you live on? coins must grow like weeds. i'm not opposed to spending money as you will notice i bought both egg mover and express mailbox but no sane person would buy stamps or potions at that exchange rate. that's worse than price gouging, highway robbery, etc... i think it paints a bad picture for users and it's not just pf its just about all games with currency for in game purchases similar to pf. i just find it hard to believe they make money that way. again, i don't know as i don't work for them or anyone (heh). at the same time i think they would generate regular income from kids who get allowance for say 1000 for 1.99 that's less than 100 upper level frogs and when you're talking 20k in froglets and with half requiring 10 stamps a frog... come on... though i don't know that pf admin bothers to read here. as long as they keep up new froglets and habits and such .. i got lots of ideas if pf is hiring but maybe i'm too obsessed. moves off soapbox... sorry, blame it on migraine meds i'm a little loopy ... only a little achy so it's time to go gifting... and if you read gigging in my post its when i'm on the ipod and stupid word manglers correct my spelling. it apparently doesn't like that word and i can't seem to work out how to add words to dictionary. i know i can but it's more effort than i care to do when this ipod is return to sender in a week.
I do have 100% Anura. Right now I have a request for a lime callaina mixtus. while breeding for lime callaina, i got 2 bonus frogs in my dex and a lime callaina velatus. If I had been using anura, I get no bonus frogs in my dex. Thats all Im saying. 3750 frogs in my dex and looking for 5000! Lisianne beige ceres ocularis bred and on the way to you soon.
Thanks Andinz for the cool chroma - I will be sending that on to my daughter (she loves the chromas) so it works out nicely. Getting close to the big 1000 I have now instituted an "only dex frogs mature" policy that if my wallet can handle it means I sell off any eggs that didn't increase my dex. This means every round of 8 is 8 more dex items. A drop in the bucket but it helps. I now try my darndest to take in all gift and pond frogs I find. That also helps the dex as well as helping to counter the stamp inflation of my express mailbox.
I am on my last color working on Signum ( just waiting on Nirtew, thanks). I do have red, purple and orange for anyone working on them. Dom, thank you for the very generous offer but since I have not started on those colors yet I will just do them when I get there, but again thanks. I have a set of blue trivium that I did last night and will send to you when they are ready.
If no takers on any of the signum happy to end up with some. I am starting to get more serious in my dexing but for now am concentrating on lvl 16 frogs so the signums would fit right in (trying to have 3 color wheels is a bit silly so I may need to rethink).
Well, that doesn't really work for me anymore as I'm almost at 50% so the chances of getting something new for my dex isn't that great anymore considering I would be using the same stock of primary and secondary frog colors to breed.

As we both know, this is no laughing matter. It's happened waaay too many times to me as my past posts attest. Must have lost the equivalent of about 100 stamps (cue Shashta on soapbox reprising her diatribe about PF stamp/potion prices - I'll be beside her). What I'm doing now, if I breed a Request frog, I may use potions in the beginning but never at the end. Plus, once it is totally ready to send, I wait another hour or two. If there is a lag time, however short, between the frog being ready & getting credit for the frog, I don't take any chances. Another weird but not serious bug today. I was breeding an Anura with another frog for the combination I wanted. I used a potion on the correct result frog, it appeared, I went to hop it around in the pond & PF closed. When I opened it again, it welcomed me as if I had "purposely" closed the program with a cheery "Welcome Back, lisianne!" BUT, the frog I had used a potion on was back to its egg stage. Don't know if potion was scored as used or as unused. This is the first time this has ever happened. And, I have not updated my iPhone software either (so I could blame Apple or something). Flies are not the only bugs in Pocket Frogs...too bad the froggies can't catch 'em.
You may be misunderstanding, Shashta. What happened to both of us is we should have received either potions or stamps to redeam a Request frog. Prior to that, we did use potions to help the frog age - that number of potions decreased, naturally, as we used them. When we went to redeam, the counter for our stamps or potions (whatever the frog was worth) didn't budge AND the Request as well as the Request frog were gone. Adieu. This can't qualify as a "good bug."

Color wheel of Anura So, I've decided to upgrade my wheel to bulbus thanks to shortbus. I been thinking about it awhile but being cheap I just couldn't do it. So, it may fail but what's really to lose? Even if I revert back I won't have lost much. This brings me to my current froglets. Like what do I do with them. Yeah I could sell them but I simPly can't and seeing as I have lot'o stamps. I am thinking of gifting them out as a set. So, I peeked at habs of friends and for the most part I only see one peep who may be able to use it. So, jcifrit? Would you like them? If not anyone else? As the oldsters know my patience is nil but I'll work to wait on answer otherwise they get shipped somewhere by midnightish. Shasta -- out
