I have been backtracking through previous weekly sets and recently completed Set 5, 2011 a.k.a the "Fine China Set." Does anyone need a White Caelus Ornatus and/or Pingo? Will clear them out (mostly) in one hour. Thank you,
This was once an extremely boring post about flies per pond present. Instead I would like to thank everyone who has been sending me frogs over the past few days while I've been intermittently out of touch.
You're not alone with regards to some of your feelings. Although I enjoy sharing frogs (as opposed to trading since there's usually not much that I find that I need), I do find it rather sad when one of the "regulars" leave the thread (i.e. Liz, Shasta). It makes me feel like people are moving on and we are being left behind. I'm glad there seems to be some new players joining us though. That should keep the community spirit alive for a while longer.
To Lisianne. A good nights frog? I was lmao over that. Made my belly hurt. Priceless. To nirtew. 24k presents? WoW! I use the same strategy of moving in one direction when i want presents and moving in a circle when i have a full mb, but I move side to side a little bit as i go. I'm gonna try it your way. Thanks for lols and advice.
I tend to do a similar thing when hunting for presents, except I move diagonally in the north west direction. That way I feel I can better spot those presents as a field of vision is slightly wider. If my MB is full I still travel far and wide because a lot of the presents are potions, stamps and coins. I do feel a tinge of disappointment though when I can't add another item to the MB, especially if its a nice one.
Man what a grueling frogging marathon but I am 16! No frog is my superior now. Thanks so much for the help and it is great I already have magus and veru so I have a good foundation for my start. My goal is to get 16 different magus (one for each secondary trait) and start dexing as I level wiping out a color at a time. Huge thanks for all the rocking frogs it has let me really let loose and get ahead!
Does anyone happen to have a spare Picea Nasus (Blacknosed set) and/or a Velatus? Thanks! Also, big thanks to those who added me on plus+ and sent welcome frogs!
Congratulations! Hope you find the succeeding levels as exciting as the earlier ones. Have a good evening,
Super Speed Dexing I am not sure why it took me so long to figure this out. For all the dexers out there with 16 habitats we now have a huge advantage to dexing quickly. Here is the recipe. Color wheel for new #1 (working on frog) Color wheel for new #2 (working on this frog also) Breed as usual. A color wheel takes 3 habitats so you will take up 6 of 16 total with your color wheels. This will leave 10 free MAX habitats to place your new eggs. In theory each time you breed the 10 habitats of eggs you could make up to 60 new frogs ie 30 #1 and 30 #2 frogs. (each time you breed there are 8 possible outcome but two of these are the same as the breeding pair). Awesome. Let me know what you all think and if my logic is correct.
16 Habs is definitely a huge advantage, but only after I bought the babyproof kit (which has been proving to be great). Just asking, should I sell off my glass chroma copies of all the patterns? They seem to be taking up quite a bit of room.
Thanks for the feedback. I sold off some of the lower leveled ones. Freed up one hab. I'm unfortunately too poor to buy my 15th hab
So many people helped me when I was trying to buy my final habitat, so I'm gonna pay it forward and help you out. Enjoy '
Going with two different breeds is a big help, if you are trying to push your numbers up then I would suggest 2 breeds plus don't go for 100 percent. Odd I know but when you think about it taking combo up to 7 of 8 or even only 6 of 8 will mean you spend a lot less "burning" combinations that produce duplicates. You can come back or simply look for your "missing" frogs later. If we all tried this methodology we could simply trade for a chunk of our missing dex combos without the extreme expense of pushing our luck trying to finish out a specific breed/color/sub breed. Another suggestion if you have cash is to ponder doing a "high low" combination that allows you to basically autosell all of the low results without taking too huge of a cash hit. They hit the dex but you don't need to let them mature and take up space.
In terms of "volume frogging" the more habs the better - I am trying to look at as few habs dedicated to breeding as possible. Once you get a full nursery if it is of the 1 day 21 hour variety then you only need to wait an hour if you can afford 16 potions and it is freed up again for next round of combines. This means those "moved along frogs" need the maximum tadpole time which is 1 day almost 12 hours. They eat up 1 hab so if you are spending 16 potions per in only 14 hours you have created 14 habs plus a full nursery for 224 potions and you have to wait for your hatchlings for almost a day. If you wait 5 hours per combine with 1 potion used to move them along then you would need 8 habs to keep things going as the original moved along group would finally mature sometime after your 7th new breed (35 hours approximately and they need about 36 to fully mature so if you add in taming time 7 will work). So at the potion bargain rate 7-8 habs for max level frogs will keep you going at a cost of 56-64 potions per round without any real waiting. Bottomline stats max mature time frogs: 2 potions per frog for speedy: 224 potions and 14 habs with almost a day waiting 1 potion per frog for steady (hopping out to train and finish off): 56 potions and 7 habs with no waiting Feel free to correct my math almost 3 am so easy to be a bit off.
If you purchase the nursery then it becomes almost trivial but you have little to do until they mature - breed til you drop then wait out the full 1 day 21 hours unless you want to toss in a ton of potions.
