Hi guys, I've been lurking in this thread for a little while. Started playing around the time Tiny Tower came out (which I think is kind of common). I've been working my way through the Awards, and have finished 1-35, 37-40 and 47. It always feels a little anticlimactic and sad when I finish a set and sell them off. I'm not sure where everyone else is, but I figured I would come on here and say that I've got the Black Tingo Viduos (Award 41) just about mature, and will offer them in pairs to anyone that needs them. I will be moving on to the Stellatas (Awards 43 and 44) next so if anyone wants those please let me know and I will probably have them within the next week or so. It would be fun to know they went to someone that needed them. Edit - forgot to say my Plus is the same as my username here (EdS35).

Make that an especially big thanks to shortbus the frogs just kept pouring in . I am still on Angels and Demons sets so lol working back to color wheel will be a challenge but it should be a fun one and I can always catalog for when I am ready. Anyone happen to have a breeding pair for angels and demons? Anyone need the blacknosed set? I am happy to send along the kindness that was given to me.

Level 15 has arrived! One more until the big show will try to power through 15 into 16 today (well by sometime in the middle of the next night anyway). Thanks again for the support surprising what having big support and a larger number of habs can do. I can't imagine trying to level up with only 8 habs the horror!
Liz isn't the only one MInAction. What about Shashta (AKA ashpupp)? How about other vibrant souls who enlivened this forum with fun & wit & clever ideas? They contributed to making this forum more of a "home" (where people remained, & thrived) & less of a motel (where people stopped for a night to get a good night's frog). Yes, we do get people who stay & contribute once they get started like Hook, Shortbus, & thesirjay, but they seem to be more the exception lately. BTW, this is not a value judgment (this is, after all, a Frog Trading Thread!), just an observation of how the forum has evolved since I joined in December. Feeling more than a bit melancholy about the times we spent laughing together over silly stuff (remember Paddy's adventures?), creating our strange contests (remember "Most Beautiful" & "Ugliest Frog"? This was not trading-related. More & more this forum resembles the FB PF forum where it's all business, all of the time. It must be my unique perspective on the game for I don't care if I ever finish - I play for what someone earlier called the "zen" experience of hopping around the pond; it's relaxing. Because the forum was & still is a warm, welcoming place, I stayed & tried to contribute according to my means after my initial visit; I have many virtual friends here, trading partners as well. Struggling with what to do now. Just longing for past times when I couldn't wait to read this forum, where there was an exciting, interactive camaraderie. As I said, this is clearly a Frog Trading Thread, no denying (or wanting to deny) that. Currently it's me who's off-topic with my expectations & therein lies my sadness & my struggle.
I did wonder that things seemed a bit less lively than they had in the past with this thread. Honestly "trading" seems a bit of a misnomer as it is basically a help people out thread. Sure what goes around is most likely going to come around but honestly people here are always giving away and it is more karma like than transactional. I think the designers made a good choice this is a game of plenty rather than a game where everyone is "hurting" all the time. By helping each other out we usually aren't "hurting" ourselves but instead are sharing the wealth and can remake it with a bit of lily pad jumping. The people here seem very warm and they make this game more than just frogs but a collaborative fun thing where you forget the over 19000 frogs you need and instead concentrate on the journey.
