I understand what you mean by the stamp depletion! Thank you for the additional frogs. I am down to 361ST. The express mailbox is quite helpful in reducing the number of stamps used, though. I had been completing requests previously to get more stamps and it looks like I need to work on the current one to get 15 more.
    :)
    Have a good evening,

I have completed the Aqua Bulbus and have all 16 available for the asking. I decided to work on Bulbus, so whoever wants to share, let me know.

Thanks for all the frogs - my cup runneth over. I am in the dilemma of either selling off my perfect 40 anuras (that will let me make every combo) or twiddling my thumbs until my longer growth frogs make it. Based on the 500ish or so per frog I think having an extra 40 slots is probably worth it (20-25k to replace them later). It feels like defeat though I worked so darn hard and figured would always keep the 40 around but I see now buying from the dex isn't that bad and given the need for space is pretty necessary.

    Color wheel up for grabs/trade

I just finished dexing the Coronas. I would love to trade or give this color wheel to whoever could use it.

Request Insero Rainbow any from set. Is this set current or previous? I saw a note that previous sets will be available now so not sure how this play on on this.

    TIA

I believe the Insero Rainbow was set 19, 2011. You can tell by the set number what week of the year the set was on (i.e. 2010 set 48, "Bullseye" is the set from week 48 in 2010).

Will send as soon as it matures.

I just double checked my frog breeds and the only new one I don't have yet is the Orbis. If someone could send one it would be appreciated.

    Thanks

I bought it a few days ago. The increased number of habitats now makes it worth it -- before, I wouldn't have had any place to put the eggs.

(I had gotten the Express Mailbox months ago, which has been nicely useful.)

I'm generally pretty stingy when it comes to buying apps, but seeing how long I've been playing PF, it seemed worth it to send the developers some support. I think it's really nice of them NOT to make the in-app purchaes NEEDED, but merely helpful.

    Same experience.

    My personal theory is that:

    1) there is a minimum time after a request is made available and when the next request is possible,

    2) that the higher level the request frog, the longer the "waiting period" is until the next request is available

    3) the delay occurs regardless of whether you accept or decline the request, and clock starts ticking as soon as the request is available

I.e., if a brand new Anura request comes up and I decline it, I get another request relatively quickly. If a brand new Magus request comes up and I decline it, I have to wait longer for another request comes up.

But, if a Magus request comes up, and I leave it sitting there for a day or two, and THEN decline it, the next request comes up pretty quickly.

    I could be wrong though.

You can pare down your 40 Anuras down to 23, and still be able to make every color combo

Since there are 23 primary colors and 16 secondary colors, all you have to do is have one each of all the 23 primary colors, and spread the 16 secondary colors to be represented amongst them. You'll have 7 "duplicated" secondary colors.

Personally, once I got 100% Anura dex'ed, and since buying Anuras from the Froggydex is both cheap and fast, I now keep PATTERNS in the habitats, and then just purchase the proper color straight out of the Froggydex. It only takes a few minutes (especially with the express mailbox) to get the exact color wanted.

    ==========

And now, I'll probably disappear from this forum thread, to reappear in a few months when the next update comes out, and I come to ask for help getting the new breeds.

Take care all, and happy frogging :)

Good point the guide I had said to go with 40 and that takes up a ton of space... I will try a 23 setup when I start doing my serious dexing. I figure now that it makes more sense to do serious dexing once I get the magical 16 habitats and some levels so I am pushing forward hard to get xp and cash (while varying up where I can to help the dex).
