Gotta quick question: how many different breeds are there, including the new ones?

    Somewhere else
First, oops! on the number of frogs in the catalog.

Next, newbies will find this forum a font of knowledge about the game. There are so many ways to play & everyone has a method. Like your idea, Q, about keeping one of each of the most requested frogs. Once I have enough habs, that's what I plan to do. For now, just keeping higher value ones I don't want to purchase.

As for "lisianne's problem," as I said it was after I fell a week behind with some frogs & it was the previous version of PF as well. No one else seemed to have that problem. It was probably unique to me since I wanted to save stamps for gifting, not use on myself. Had to alter that idea a bit...

Finally, Nirtew answered my IM for the Set frogs for this week but only wanted 4 of the 8. If anyone is at Level 14 (for you'll need to breed) & has been a dawdling, let me know & I'll send the remaining 4 Set frogs. Even without stamps you'd have the Set completed by Wednesday, no problem.

And, speaking of Sets, now that I finished the Biplex one, I was presented with the Smore Set (composed of Amfractus, Insero, & Bovis). Can anyone help me out here?

The reason I was asking how many breeds there are, we have more than enough space to stock one of each, so there should actually be no need for the catalog if you wanted to do it that way. That's how I think I'm gonna do it.

That's how I do it. I've always had one of each patterns in my habitat. If I need to breed a frog I just buy an Anura with the required colour combination and cross with the pattern in my habitat. Takes a few tries sometimes, but this way I save on stamps, as buying high end pattern can be pricey.

That's kinda how I do it too, except that I don't keep a breed of every frog - just the higher level ones (too expensive to buy each time). Then I use the free habs for the eggs (bought the Babyproof kit). That way my potions and stamps are keep higher. They're currently at 581 and 823 respectively.

    New breeds inquiry:

    Good evening.

I have been playing pocket frogs since last fall. I starting using Plus+ recently to backup as I had read reports of data loss with version 1.2.
Would anyone be able to please send me a Signum or a Bulla? (Out of the new breeds, I only have Geminus, Obaro and Persona so far.) If you need a Biplex (i.e, ones from the current set) I can send you one in trade.

    Thanks,
    SnappyMcfrog

Sould I spice up my Verus and Magus with some Signum? Help the ol' dex?

That is exactly how I've been doing it too (kept just the higher level/most requested frogs) but now with all the new habs, I can keep one of each and every frog.

I will send you one each of what you need as soon as they mature.

For those of you who have the babyproof kit...is it worth it? Want to make sure before I shell out the extra $.

Thank you snappy for the nice sumo frog - when I hit 11 I can work my way through the set good deal!

I got 100% Anura... and over 500 froggydex items so far I am on fire! :) I am nearing level 10 so things are definitely moving.

Thanks for all the support and all the great info I have learned a ton which is helping me to fly (that and a bit of an obsession with moving things along  )

I bought it without much thinking, but my goodness has it changed the way I breed. Because I'm breeding to fill my Dex, I found that someone like me needed a lot of space to put all those eggs while they grew. And because I like to breed constantly and within large numbers, I found it less restricting to 8 froggies in the Nursery alone. You're also supporting a great app which, when I hope I speak for all of us, we love.

If they had the upgrade that halfs the maturity period, i'd be all over it. Baby proofing and cutting the delivery times are not as useful for me.

Nice find on the habitat. They really seem to keep this game growing.

I have now made lvl 10 - I keep trying to keep mixing up my breeding at each level (the math of dexing these frogs is scary so doing what I can to optimize dexing and leveling).

Thank you for the mixtus Andusz I am trying to keep my catalog growing (now that I know what its for :) ) so it fits right in.

I also wanted to give a big thanks to everyone who has given me items and advice. At times it is very hard to keep track of who gives what and I have been so hard at it that I haven't had a chance to mention each thanks but now that things are slowing down a bit it seemed a good time for another blanket thanks :)

¡Viva la revolución rana (thanks google translate my Spanish is so rusty...)

P.S. running low on stamps so for now please hold off on gifts unless they are to help me level (or if you are rich and want to support my habitat habit hehe). I have an Ornatus, Obaru, Sol and a Lucus right now.
