Tiny Towers So I decided to give Nimblebit's other new game, Tiny Towers, a try. I figured one good game, why not two? So after a few hours of playing, I don't think I'm doing it right. Would anyone who is playing this game like to give me a quick introduction into the general mechanics, as well as any hints/tips on how to progress?
Lisianne, I do not think it is a glitch. At times, the request frog appears within minutes and sometimes it takes hours. It depends on the length of time you play without switching out of the game. I believe that if you jump in and out due to texting or receiving a phone call, the clock resets itself. I have noticed while playing on my iPad without any interruptions, the requests happen more frequently. I just set you a few Aqua Ocularis, let me know if they arrive and if you want more. I am working on them now steady so I have plenty to share.
Received a flood of frogs today from you, Dom. Not just Aqua Ocularis frogs but five Purple Stellatas. Somehow I think the Stellatas may have been from yesterday since you didn't mention just sending them. If that's the case, I really wasn't receiving any frogs yesterday from you. p.s.: Thanks also for the Veru, Nirtew. It was one I didn't have.

If you're only on for a couple of minutes every couple of hours, then it won't show up for hours because you haven't been 'online' for hours. It may just be me, but it seems like doing the pond makes the request timer move faster, no idea.
Hey andi, I'm actually not sure what I mean. It just seems I am not progressing through the game at a satisfactory rate. It seems to take a really long time to make enough money to do anything, like build a new floor. I guess I'm wondering if that's normal. Also, is there anything else to do in the meantime other than transport people to different floors and restock?

The short answer is, not much. Fortunately, if you have your Bitizens in their dream jobs, you get more stock, cheaper, which means more profit and less restocking. And you get 3 Towerbux every time you place someone in their dream job. I have been comparing new residents with current employees even where the existing are in their dj, because the skill level improves your discount. I've even been through a couple of times and chucked out everyone not in their dj, and held out for new Bitizens who have the respective stores as their dj. Short term pain, long-term gain once you get the right staff. The other really quick way to boost your cash is to save up your Towerbux, cos every time you get 50, you can cash them in for 100,000 coins at the bank. Hope this helps. Flood worthy of Noah Since yesterday, I've been the happy recipient of a hair shy of a gazillion Ocularis frogs, thanks to you, Dom. Spent stamps on myself as never before. Hope I'm lucky in the pond today. Much as I appreciate your generosity, the Red Sea of Ocularis frogs has washed over the Lucas you sent & the great Magus that sab sent as well as many frogs from yesterday. Have had to even turn down some frogs because the waiting list was getting too long. You don't need to be so generous with a dyed-in-the-wool non-serious 'dexer. Unless or until my PF weirds out again, I'll still be focused in my own haphazard way on breeding 3-4 new Dexteras/day.
This weeks set I was lazy with last weeks set...i have them all...just waiting for them to mature in my habitat. Anyway, I would like to get a start on this weeks set but I don't know what it is....could a kind soul please fill me in?

How weird is it to apologize for being so generous! It's just that I need a bit of breathing room. If I hadn't had the experience of losing up to 20 frogs waiting to get into mb which were 1 week to 2 days old, I wouldn't be so skittish. If Nirtew can lose his friends again (ya know, you might try cuttin' back on the garlic, pal) then Plus+ has its Minus-'s, so to speak. Would greatly appreciate an Olive Picea Pingo for 21 stamps. Would help -if it can get in mb. As far as the Set goes, the Beige Tingo Lucas made it into my mb, finally. Plus have bred the Beige Caelus Lucas. When mb clears for a moment, I'll buy the Picea Anura & Albeo Anura.
