I will try to leave some stamps in the pond for you. However, with that in mind, the pond gods did not listen and gifted me 32 more this morning. Sorry:eek:

On non-frog note, went to services, funeral, then Shiva yesterday for a good, dear, wonderful friend. The Shiva was like none other I had ever attended. People sat on chairs, on carpet, stood, mingled while listening & noshing on food facing the person in front. Whoever wanted to came up to the mic in front spoke about funny, sad, imprinted memories of our friend. There were many, many people of all ages there (well over a hundred) & this was at times a funny, sad, but always poignant, a real pulling at the heart-strings activity. Laughter was laced with tears in our shared, patchwork recreation of our dear friend through isolated, often snapshot memories.

Real life has a way of interrupting my humor but I'll be back speaking of frog things later tonight or tomorrow.

Thanks Spearcom for the Insero which I'm using as seed stock for the weekly set. Speaking of the weekly set, does anybody want it? The frogs will mature in about 37 hours, maybe sooner if I can get my hands on alot of potions (and no I'm not paying cash in the pro shop).

Thanks to everybody who sent in a frog today.

Thanks all. Poor judgment on my part to have shared this private sorrow. Cast a pall here & I apologize.

Back to froggie stuff! Does anyone know when next version of PF is coming out? Fearful it might be delayed with concentration on Tiny Towers (or maybe some of you here are playing that as well).

p.s.: Belated thanks to yesterday's great gifters: Dom, Q (contributing to this week's Set!), andi, Nirtew, & smjj.

p.p.s.: Think, in my distraction, didn't give proper thanks to dean the other day for sending me so many Calvarias - they are wonderful, each & every one & I am very grateful.

p.p.p.s.: Set will be ready to be gifted by 5-6 EST (sooner if I use pond). If no one speaks up for them, they will be gifted in groups of 2 to random forum participants. Please speak up!!!!

I haven't heard anything about when the next update is coming out.

Anyways, does anybody want the set? I have one that will mature within 24 hours. If nobody asks, I'll send them out at random.

I did try Tiny Towers, but it seemed too tedious for me.

Wrote 5 forum participants. Altho' Set will be fully cooked by 5-6, I'll hold off sending randomly until there's time for people here to respond. It's already past 2 so I'd like to give people more time to respond either by PM or here in forum.

Haven't been on the forums for a month or three, but wanted to stop by to congratulate Dean on the 100% dex -- wow! -- and thanks for the gifted frogs.

I was going to gift some back, but I think on a quick skim Dean requested no more gifts?

Has anyone else on this forum achieved 100% dex?

    Happy frogging to you all.

I'll take it as I'm working on Puncti among other frogs. I'm actually doing Glacio atm, but a colorwheel would certainly speed up the dexxing for Puncti.

    Hey everyone!

I just rediscovered Pocket Frogs and would like to give it a go this time being involved in the online community.

The last time I did it without much thought to strategy but I am going to attempt the 100% dex this time around (I expect to be playing a long long time). Do you recommend I collect all of the Anuras in the dex first or just all the colors in the habitats and then put the patterns into the catalog?

    I appreciate the help!

My Plus and GC name is Sanitymops if you would like to add me :) Always looking for some cool new friends.

Wow! It is so cool you can see other people's habitats! I can't believe I missed out on this stuff last time.

You guys have some cool frogs.

Are you starting from scratch? Anyways, since having an Anura colorwheel is a major help, you could dex out the Anura if you want.

I'll send the weekly set your way once they finish maturing. The xp from taming and their sell value will really boost you here since you seem to be starting from scratch.

I would definitely get 100% Anura as it makes it cheap to clone 2 out of the 3 characteristics.

I sent you a welcome packet to help get you started. Enjoy!
