I have been away for a few days and didn't have wifi, now I am back and what should I find when I check on the frogs but an avalanche of wonderful frog gifts from you my froggy neighbours. Thank you very very much! You guys are fantastic! Well done on attaining level fifty Dean! You must be sick of the sight of verus by now.
nope it's not a jailbreak hack it's really easy to get too! and yeah it's not a real frog, so all that talk about the chi are rumors! it's an ugly one though, there are so many better looking custom frogs out there!
don't know if you guys heard.. but the game developers are working on making new frogs, more habitats, and past weekly sets!! i'm so excited for the weekly sets, i've missed so many and really wanna do them all!
Hello everyone, Well, as most people have guessed and already knew, the mythical Chi frog is just that, a myth. When you get to level 50 you get the normal stamps, potions and coins. Since I live in Missouri , the "Show-Me" state, knowing and seeing are two different things. We now have the proof for the thread. Of course, now I can get 25 stamps/potions with one good hop in the pond.
Lately I've been going offline for a while so that when I have a MB slot, it doesn't get filled by a gift as I mail myself Anura clones to use for breeding. My theory was (note the was) that when I was offline, someone would send me a gift and get the msg "delivery unsuccessful", would still have the potential gift in their habs and would try again. Somehow, both gift deliveries would hover in the cloud. Then when I went online, I would receive both. Obviously that theory is out the window so now I working on a theory involving hallucinatory frog secretions.... I've no idea what happens.
How did you find this out? And, how would the game know if you had bred the frogs separately or as part of a Set? Not that that would present a problem for me, most likely, but for others who have a more amply filled 'dex. Meanwhile, can frogs be MISSING INACTION (not a sic)? In other words, there are about 5 Arbors sent on the 16th which haven't showed up since, after a number of attempts, they were still given the "No Room at the Inn" sign - in other words, "inaction" on my mb's part. In the interim, I've received many alerts for frogs sent today & even had room for some but these Arbors may have found a safe 'arbor in the vast reaches of cyberspace. Has this ever happened to anyone? If not, maybe they'll magically reappear when my mb gets unclogged or maybe it's just one of those weird things like triple mailings of the same frog. Or maybe there's an actual limit to frogs-in-waiting, so to speak, with the devs thinking that after a frog has been put off so long it's not really needed/wanted.
Special Request SPECIAL REQUEST I have a request . I know that alot of people put in their signuatures what they are working on and what they have 100% of and this is helpful. What I would like to know is what breed you are currently very low on. This could be a one time post or pm to me. I feel that if I send you what you are currently working on I could easily dup what you have and on low level frogs the coins are not worth it for you or me. So if you could let me know what you would like, I would appreciate it. I am currently still trying to get the last batch of veru's out of my habs but I have been picking up other breeds while I am in the pond. So after I get what people need I will get those in my habs. Then when I bring in anuras for breeding I can do everyone's at once. I will not be spending as much time on PF as in the pass (real life is calling) but I will still be around and would like to breed with a purpose. THANK YOU
Problem solved! This is the way I wish I could solve all my problems. Post about them & poof!, they resolve themselves. Just got 2 notices about Arbors from Q & Dom from the 16th (room for one, but others still pending). Don't give up hope, Nirtew! I will pass them on to you. Continue breeding Dexteras for you, Dom, with Clunicas & Africanus frogs that you send. Goal is 3-4/day. You'll to tell me when to stop. Have a frog in my mb with the alerts sign in bright red, not faded out maroon. What does that mean? Dean, your offer is quite generous & well-thought out. Still, it's both understandable & OK once you've finished the game to move on with life or other whatever else catches your fancy. To the extent that you get something from the interactions in the forum, that's it's fun & creates a type of symbiotic relationship, it's great to have you back. BUT it shouldn't be an obligation. On another topic, I wrote to 5 people who haven't posted lately to offer up this week's Set. Had no takers here among our regulars for a couple of days. Need the space to finally get to Level 50 (err, in my dreams...)
It just means that you turned the alert on which notifies you when the frog or decoration arrives. As for the missing in action thing, no idea. @dean: what percentage do you mean by very low? Since I have over 30 frogs that are under 10%, I'll list those around 5% or less: Glacio, Ludo, Roboris, Bovis, Nasus, Marinus, Viduo, Dextera, and Nimbilis onwards. Although Biplex is at 5.43% and Cesti is at 6.79%. Thanks Dom, Dean, and Andinz for the frogs this morning.
You are so generous Dean. It is a shame that you won't be around as much as you have been integral in making this thread fun and helpful in my opinion but I understand about real life getting in the way of the frogs It is so very generous that you are continuing in your role as fairy frog mother so thank you from me for all past and all future contributions to my dex. I for one am glad you will still be around the pond and I know that the frog addiction is a hard one to shake off. THANK YOU DEAN!
Maybe I should have said "Which breed would you like me to work on for you ?". Just pick a breed and let me know. Cannot promise how many and how often I will gift which is why I am asking for a breed that you currently are not working on and may not work on for awhile.
Thank you BUT I don't think I ever mentioned that I felt any obligation to do this. I am doing this because I like PF and I like helping people. I have never felt any obligation to gift, I have always done it because I enjoyed it.
What Liz said; couldn't have said it better myself. Breed I am low in, and won't get to for a bit - Arbors! No, kidding, my 'unofficial' breed is coming in thick and fast, and may soon overtake the ones I'm actively working on. Thanks to all who are sending me those. In fact, I would like to nominate Viduo as my least-complete breed.
