Haha Shasta, check your map, I think you have us Kiwis confused with our cousins on the West Island (Australia). Looking at the entries so far, nothing I have come up with is anywhere near as ugly as some of the entries already submitted. I'll definitely be voting though, if I can stand to look at the entry froglets again, that is! Today I have the weekly set available if anyone still needs it (not ignoring you ladybird, time difference means I was sleeping when you were asking, and I see someone has helped you out already).

Too ugly for words or pics This is being transmitted via courier through the immeasurable depths of the ponds where I, of necessity, have been doomed. Yes, yes, I know a picture of me is critical to winning this award but I don't even have mirrors in my abode - not because I'm vampiric & want to suck blood but because I make blood curdle! Yes, I am beyond disgusting, way beyond gross, & totally redefine, by my very existence, the words repellent & repulsive. Indeed, I am so vile, one dare not speak my name. Mirriam-Webster's dictionary has a word for me it dare not print. Flickr has a shadow of me that has been forbidden to show on pain of death. I am the frog of your worst nightmare. Or daymare. Or afternoonmare. My ugliness transcends the bounds of space or time (haven't you even wondered why the Earth hasn't been invaded yet?!) Whatever frog wins this "ugliness" contest, as unattractive as it may be (in the physical NOT metaphysical, psychological, ethical, intrinsic, despotic, iatrogenic, etc. sense) cannot hold a candle to me (I'm too deep in the bowels of ugliness for any light to burn or even shine). No. I, myself, define the very words that YOU, oh menial ones, think describe you. I will not win, sans photo (yes, even revolting frogs know French!), but I will be the ultimate winner.
