Good morning everyone. PC do you remember the name of the thread that was setup the last time you did "name the theme" contest? Never mind, I found it.
If anyone would like to start practicing posting pictures to a thread for the next game you can use the following thread: BEST PF HABITAT THEME NAME This was setup by us and it is not being used. Remember that Shashta will help with any problems you are having: taking picture, size, hiding potions/stamps, etc.
Hi Everyone! If you haven't voted yet, please vote now! 11 people have voted so far!!!!!!!! 'Name the Theme' Final I put up a 'painting' in my habs a few days ago but I couldn't come up with a good name for it, so I asked for a little help in here! Easy free crop app: iretouch free Free app to upload: photobucket There are others of course but those are free and easy to use. You do need a photobucket account. If you aren't keen on giving out email address, check out mailinator.com ! No kickbacks sadly. Call me cheap and paranoid but never call me late to pocketfrogs! Okay I was mistaken no account setup. î”± though I am pretty sure I did setup a photobucket acct at some previous point it doesn't appear that you have to for the app to work. Do you think they'll know it's me?
OK , this time for real - the last ocularis to leave my habitat, Dom I have sent your reward frog. I still had a couple in my habitats that I had not tamed so I whipped up one for you. enjoy.
First, I think it's a personal preference. Second, it can be upsetting if one person has a large lot and someone else does not. Certainly, it is not meant to be but still it can inadvertantly cause someone else to feel bad which is counterproductive. Third, bandwidth is a big issue for a site in regards to speed, cost, need for admin to deal with errors etc. The pictures may be hosted offsite but as I understand it the amount of data (pixels) still effect user experience. It will effect older computers & devices more. Lastly, it's not the main focus of the thread so being respectful to that cropping pictures reduces the need to spend a large amount of time skimming through unrelated post if you are one that only is here to trade. Though I find it hard to believe peeps just don't fall all over themselves to read my witty, hilarious, comical & creative humour just to keep smiles on their froggy faces through prose and graphics, it is conceivable that peeps skip over it to see what froglets are being freed.
Sent pm. But I'll post this out once then I'll reply in pm as I think this will be a common issue. What are you using as a host site like photobucket or flicker etc. If you're using photobucket it's as simple as going into setting and changing to 340 resolution. Generally speaking you want you picture to be less than or equal to 320 by 480 which is the size of the screen. Less is smaller generally speaking but also can be less clear but it depends on how you crop using the two apps I suggested will work. Though spending the 99 cents for the iretouch so there are no iAds is worth it and you get a way to better reduce size if picture but not at all needed and i have used both free and paid versions. Both apps are iAd driven and free. *Photobucket Mobile settings: upload - > resolution -> 320 x 320. You must change this before upload. If you uploaded before changing then delete the picture and redo it. Then you simply click the i in the lower right of picture you uploaded and click the last line. You will get message copied text. Now paste that to post and viola it's done. *Iretouch free app crop and save to 480 (320) or if you use paid ver. you can go smaller but I wouldn't go less than 200 or it will be too small. So, you'll either need to use the apps I know or look in the app or website you host the picture on for pixel/resolution size. Shasta
