Pocket Frogs Trading Thread

Discussion in 'General Game Discussion and Questions' started by starmonkey101, Sep 16, 2010.

  1. Okay I know I am a bit obsessed with stamps and potions and at the risk of seeming crazy, or is that more crazy, I have noticed that the peep who posted (sorry can't remember who) is right that hopping circles around gifts and froglets will reveal more gifts. In attempting to photograph Green Vader in my habitats causing mayhem hopping around a red tinted gift caused it to multiplt into two yellow and one red gift causing me to fall off my pad i then went to investigate more pond gifts and froglets and it mostly duplicated with one other gift item.

    My question is whoever is using this strategy have you noticed what percent of the revealed gifts turn out to be stamps or potions. My research seems to indicate mostly scenery and other froglets. :eek:

    I figured that having all the colours wasn't vital, as I have completed Anuras, and can call up any colour combo relatively cheaply. Actually, my #1 piece of advice to anyone wanting to work on the 'dex is 'finish the Anuras first'.

    If you are referring to my 'concentric circles' approach, I can't say I've analysed it to that degree. I just noticed in the early days of playing, that when I found a gift, there was usually a frog nearby, and vice versa. So, whenever I found a frog, I'd do a couple of circuits of it, at 1-2 lilypads distance. It often works, but I think the gift contents are random as with any other method.

    My head is still spinning!

    Wart'sup!

    Newbies coming in here asking for rare frogs seem a bit hard to come by nowadays!

    Good morning all.
    Andi, you are probably right about not needing the colors in the catalog now but I set mine up before we could clone frogs. But yes the most important thing is to do anuras first.

    PC, now that you can buy the "special" frogs in the frog mart not to many newbies come here asking for them. I think if you could have done that when I needed the tribus and glacio, I probably would have never looked for and found this thread.

    Wait, Dom, did YOU send the set to qwerty already?! Anyway, I had an extra Marine Viola Insero which I just sent to qwerty.

    I simply can't keep up with all of you for I need time to sleep & stuff like that.

    Maybe I wasn't cut out to be a hard-core gamer...:::sigh::: :(

    Dear Mr. Vader,

    According to the Terms & Conditions of the Pocket Frog Pond Use (v. 3), Section B, subsection 1.2, you are expressly forbidden to pursue a path of greeniation. The law clearly & unequivocally states that such an action, performed for the sole purpose of pond domination, will result in prompt & severe consequences! You may think your plan is "$#@bleepin'*&^% golden" (as noted in your exclamation d'oh [shorthand for "dough" or "moolah" or "swag"]) but you will be tried & convicted of your crimes.

    This certified legal document represents a "Cease & Desist Order" which you MUST not ignore under penalties most severe.

    I herewith or herebelow, place my seal.

    Sincerely yours,
