Chrysanthemum was a yellow flower scenery item (+36), not a frog breed, I think? It was available in the shop a day or two ago.

Well, the accused plead "Guilty" but not before 40-50 odd (some were very odd) jurors & myself had stayed most of the day & were about to be chosen. On the plus side, got to begin Full Night, No Stars. Haven't finished 1st story but it reminds me of one of King's earlier ones about rats in the bottom basement of a warehouse. So far, underwhelmed. On the really plus side, thanks to glate, sab & dom for keeping my mailbox overflowing today. You guys are incredible. I knew what glate wanted because of her "neighborhood note" but not you, sab, & you, dom. Hoping to get a glimmer of an idea in this thread but no such luck. Guess it'll just have to be a surprise if you don't write me within the next hour or two to let me know your preferences. p.s.: Still have Violet Caelus Pingo to give away. Don't let her be sold on the open market, perhaps into frog slavery.

I have no idea if I am 'keeping up', so I'm going to just continue sending regular gifts to everyone I trade with. Yeah, I don't think the most entertaining part of this app is making frogs but giving and receiving them

As someone said earlier in the thread today, this "community" is as much part of the game as the game. Maybe more so. It's all about being part of that, participating, & giving (which is genuinely as much fun as getting) as receiving. I realize that some of us who have been playing longer or more intensely have more to give & are highly generous. My goal is to try to keep up in my modest way until I become able to do so as well. As for asking what someone might like in return, I know sometimes I receive something I already have or can't really use so that's why I ask what I might send in return. That way I can feel doubly happy at not on reciprocating but gifting something genuinely useful. It's a good, happy feeling, n'est-ce pas? And yes, Andi, I do know the difference between "and" & "or" but I simply couldn't choose between two lovely frogs so I sent both! So sue me - but understand I don't need to be in court again for another year.
