I forgot the other thing I do on off pond days is fill the request for stamps and potions. I just decline any under ten potions or stamps. I never bother with coins. And to add to the insult my request was a red viola Anura for (yes, you can gasp in horror) for one potion. It's so funny it's insulting.
Shashta: My follow the fly strategy is more out of need then planning. I take babies to the pond to mature them faster so I am I looking for flies and seem to find presents on the way. I guess the one tip I can give is if there are too many flies going in different directions/or no flies I will stop on a lilypad and wait a second and see which direction the next fly comes from and then I am off and hopping again. If I have a rather dry day again, I will try your n/s method. There is also follow the frog strategy where you go in the direction of the frogs in the pond, but that never really worked for me. I am off to doing some breeding, hope everyone has a good day.
Happy Next Day to all here. I awoke to wondrous gifts from Ash, Liz, Dean, & Dom (hope I'm not forgetting someone in my sleepy daze). Better news, I got waaaaaaaaaaaaaay lucky & discovered that I had indeed bred the Golden Ceres Pingo in only two tries before nodding off for the night. So, more stamps without having to rely on the notably unreliable, stingy pond. (Today's swag so far: black tree hab, 3 stamps, 900 coins, frog idol & an Ornatus frog [which I accepted for some people here are collecting them]). Still looking to give away the two Cestis from this week's set plus, when they're ready, the two Florescos from the set. If you regulars are just too quick on the trigger fulfilling others' requests but I will persist!

I just sent the two Cestis. The two Florescos are not ready yet. You'd still need two more since you're not at a high enough level to breed. I seriously want nothing in return. I'm paying back for all the kind people who gifted me when I first arrived in this forum. Just enjoy. Someday you'll be able to initiate a "Pay it Forward."

That's the best idea of all. Those guys are really sharp & can even transfer your iPod stuff to a iPhone or tell you how it's done. As others have said, your PF settings are stored online & I assume that includes the level of your potions & stamps. If not, you probably saved the receipt from the iTunes Store when you purchased them. Offer to send/fax it to the PF people if purchased items don't reappear. FWIW, I moved from an iPod Touch (now my husband's) to an iPhone & kept all my relevant stuff. I've even "Restored" my iPhone twice when the "Other" category had grown too large. In both cases, PF was in no way affected & all my apps & their data were also intact. Good luck today!
