My best forage on the pond today consisted of 2 small maple, 1 coin and a woven habitat.......lol The best being that I actually got 4 presents in 1 taming instead of the 1 or 2 presents I have been getting per taming today. All the contents have been garbage and I havent gotten a pink present all day, even though I have tamed around 14+ Insero!!
You probably gifted it to me, Shasta, for I received one a day or two ago. It's gorgeous & will remain happy & well-fed in one of my habs for quite a while! Dean, the more stamp & potion thing is great. I'm looking forward to such amazing gifts. That's almost the same as I get for fulfilling a Request these days (who writes those hilarious stories?). Meanwhile, my luck in the pond was pretty pitiful - mucho coins [900 3x), a few frogs I didn't want, a bit of scenery I didn't feature. Meanwhile, back to trading, a lovely Veru or Magus of the person's choice for my next Request, a Golden Ceres Pingo for 22 stamps. Keep me in stamps & I'll keep you in frogs. I guess it is not just me then, even though I am sorry that everyone is having problems too. I keep closing the game and waiting for awhile hoping it will get better but no such luck. Figures, my first Saturday off in weeks and plans to breed all day and catch up. On the bright side, thank you sabnetang, mochuelin, lisianne, dom, Illurgy and Liz for the wonderful frogs today. Thanks to you guys at least I made a little progress on the dex.
Haven't tried to breed today no attention for it so I have semiworking on taming froglets as I need to gift out several habitats. It's been hitvand miss for me. My mb is full of course I been getting mostly new froglets. Oh the frustration. I got approx. 20 stamps and 50 potions from three froglet taming but the bulk came from the first froglet. One thing I have found to be fairly accurate is when the pond will give up nothing but low coins and crappy backgrounds when I am doing the 50 n&s deal is to go diagonally. I found 10 stamps like that today and 11 potions. Its also how I measure if the pond is in a giving mood. If I get nothing from n&s then diagonal will get me coins if not stamps and potions. If nothing in either method I quit and return later. Those are a couple of my potion and stamping strategies. Happy frogging. Shasta

I have found that leaving the game and coming back later works sometimes. My strategy is normally I just follow the flies, since I have babies out that I am trying to mature quicker. This normally works well for me ( I am on the leaderboard for pond presents). Today just seems to be one of those days.
Alas....I fear the worst I'm aware that this is a trading thread...but I know you are all helpful and kind souls...not to mention clever. OK, enough with the accolades...here is the issue. My ipod touch is stuck in recovery mode. I may have to restore the original settings then recover data saved in itunes. Does that mean I will lose all of my frogs, achievements, stamps and potions (that I paid for with real money)????
I am not sure and hopefully someone else will answer you more accurately, but I think when you get your ipod up and running again, when you sign into your plus+ account your game should be there as you left it or at least within a reasonable time frame. Again, hopefully someone else will know for sure but it may not be before tomorrow.

Please post your results as I need to replace my iPod touch. Stress fractures imthe glass. But I'm waiting until closer to 1 yr so it's like getting a new one all over again. Plus I'm somewhat worried about game data. If you have a noncorrupt backup you should be fine. With games like godfinger and pocket frogs most data is saved online I know for sure godfinger and I'm fairly sure of pocket frogs. Games like slingo you lose everything if your backup is corrupt. Things like flower garden if you backup is bad you lose what you have cuuently in garden but you can redownload seeds (like express mb and egg mover) and such at no cost but the fertiliser you have to repurchase. So I think that the things you bought that are renewable like the potions and stamps could be lost but usually and I can't speak for pocket frogs but with flower garden if this happens (and it did to me a few times) I wrote to the game support and he was more than helpful and gave me a code to redeem my purchases of fertiliser. I would expect you will find it's the same deal here too. Of course, as qwerty mentioned there's only one way to find out unless you email the support for pocket frogs. They would be able to say for sure. If you jb. You can attempt ssh'ing if it's not completed bricked so to speak. I have been able to use iPhone explored to save save data when I couldn't load past initial loading. If this sounds like jibberish then you best bet is to contact froglet support yourself. Yes, you are on my list of people to catch! LoL. How ecatlt do you follow the flies? If you don't mind sharing. I do fairly well with the grid method. Even today I got about 60 stamps and 100 potions. It was going well until my iPod forced a reboot. Then it was like the pond was sucked dry! I found a pond present of one stamp and a different froglet found a present with one potion still another with one coin. I kid you not I'm not sure if I should be grateful for at least finding them or be offended! I think I'm more offended than grateful.
