Like I said patience is not something I have in any quantity sooo I'm already selling and gifting. If you can't use them just pass them or sell them.
Ok, here's my method: There are 18 secondary colors. If you look in my habs 1, 2 and 3, you will see that I have a frog with each secondary color (Tingo, Carota, Aurum, etc.) What I do is pick a primary color and breed that I want to work on (i.e. Maroon Anura). I will breed one Maroon Anura then use that frog to work my way through the secondary colors (breed the Maroon Anura with the Tingo frog, and once I get the Maroon Tingo Anura, I will move onto the Carota, etc.) Once I finish with Maroon Anura, I move onto the next color (Red Anura). That seems to me to be the most straight forward method for me. If you would like me to explain further, just ask.
*See previous post As for your second question, if you have a lot of coin and don't mind using them, what you can do is breed your highest level frogs together. The higher the level of frog you breed, the more coins it costs but you also receive the same amount of experience. You can then just sell the eggs, rinse and repeat.
Umm I am not great with numbers but aren't there 16 secondary (tingo, aurum, etc) and 23 primary (maroon, red, etc). I think there 41 species but that could off as i didn't count them carefully. I just want to make sure I'm not missing any like I did ludo before I came here I didn't even know they existed. And the new way for me any way seems orderly and quick though a bit like work. So I'm not sure how long I'm keep at it. Q, do you mean that you take say the bovis sp. Then take your stock maroon tingo, maroon carota, and so on through the bovid then move on to a new color? Okay I'm too tired to think. Happy frogging.

You're absolutely right, there are only 16 secondary colors. No, what I do is have say, Blue Bovis, and breed that with each secondary color (i.e. Tingo, Carota, etc.) Then move onto the next color Bovis. That way I keep using the 16 stock secondary color frogs repeatedly, only changing the color breed (Blue Bovis to Purple Bovis for expample).
Thanks so much Shasta and Querty! I like the idea of having a 'master' set of secondary colours so I'm working on glass anuras now. I'll get through all the anuras for sure but I'm not sure how far I'll get with the other breeds. Great advice! Also, the way you mentioned about leveling up, that sounds perfect! I only have about 300,000 coins but it will be enough to at least get me to level 15, and close to 16. That's a great idea and it definitely never crossed my mind. Also I seem to have bred a plethora of glass chroma lanternas...lol...I'll be gifting them as they're just so pretty Dex, here I come!
I have three (judging by value of egg) already but could use the Royal Picea Insero. This has been a challenging set for me since, in each case, I had to breed the anuras beforehand & THAT was hard. What can I send you in return? I never know for I don't both read this thread & play the game at the same time except on weekends.
Thanks so much for not only the "names" of the sets but also pictures! I think the two I saw before were the "Bullseye" & the "Hawaiian Sunset." Since I wasn't able to find or breed these frogs, I felt this was an aspect of the game not yet for me & I just ignored it. With the names/pics of the earlier Sets, we can all make suggestions about a new Set. Now, much like you, I focus on doing Requests (so I'll have the stamps to gift stuff) & the Set (which is kind of like an extension of the Awards in the game itself). In the process, I manage to increase the number of my frogs in my 'dex while playing; I went from 7% to 8% just within the last week doing nothing but the above. I also collect, for the moment at least, higher value frogs so I'll be able to continue with the Requests & Sets. It's to "feed my habit," so to speak. BTW, I'll repeat, I have enormous respect for those who have the patience it takes to reach 100% of the 'dex. I know patience is a virtue so I must not be terribly virtuous... p.s.: Thanks sab & ash for the gifts this morning. I sent one of you (I think it was sab) my extra Black Aurum Stellata - if you don't want it, send it on. Meanwhile, I have lots of not-the-right Inseros so if anyone is collecting them, let me know.

I do the same thing as the others have said except I keep the base and secondary colors in one pattern in my habs 3, 4, and 5. I think it looks like a pretty rainbow and then when a request comes in, it's easy to make the correct color combo to breed to the correct pattern. The patterns in my habs are the ones that I run across most frequently in requests and some are pretty pets. The rest of the patterns I catalogued which is cheaper than the dex. You just need to pick a way to try and see if it works for you. If you get bored, change up how you do it. Happy dexing!

Gifting color sets Okay this is what I am tentatively going to do any set above lvl 20 I will gift out to an individual but below 20 I sell off unless I get a specific request for them. Right now I'm doing ludo which I'll be selling though it's killing not softly and insero. I plan on going in color order though oddly I started off with purple and red. Don't ask because I have no idea. So if someone wants the set it's first come first serve I may age the up with potions but I may just all the to grow aunaturalle. (hmm I think I just made up a new word). LoL I'm moving on to maroon ludo Oh and if no request comes in I'll like just randomly gift the set if you don't want to be on that list just let me know. For high level peeps you be less often a randomise as you can breed at will
