My mother's family is from there and I spent every summer in new Orleans or Gulfport and when I was little we did Mardi GRAS too. But regardless my gps would send huge bag of beads and coins and stuff. They really are some of my best memories. I'm hoping to move back that way soon. I hate snow and yes we got a foot today!! WTF is that about. I haven't been back since katrina. My gps were big into the lions club so the walk with that group etc. I'll check back and send out froglets tomorrow. I work on patience.

Technically it was further ummm-- west. The house my gps built in ms was levelled by katrina. their home in neworkeans was fine more or less it was sold almost 5 yes prior to katrina. We used to Fish out the baptist compound. Gp was friends with them and we could see it our front porch. I was there in new Orleans to bury gp and visited with family reunion of sorts and went over to ms for a week which oddly was two weeks prior to katrina. It was surreal to watch it allbe wiped out. Anyhow lots more froglets go look as we'd draws near I'll be freeing at least one habitat.
