I don't know what goes on with the followers I don't get any new ones any more I used to get tons appearing. now even when I get a gift from someone I don't know they don't appear on the list. I just put it down to the mysteries of plus.

And so, for those as interested in lisianne's story as Paddy's adventures, here's the back story: When I joined this forum in late December, I DID put the place I currently live in my "Location" line. Later, I noticed that most people had nothing in that line but some, like Inky, gave a funny clue to location ("more cows than people"). Given that I love humor, I was inspired by that to change my location to "Somewhere else" which I thought was clever. This was WELL before the Paddy story even was a gleam in anyone's eye. Second thing, when I'm writing, I'm focused on the subject at hand. I don't like to interrupt my narrative, which really does have a life of its own, to veer off topic for I often lose my train of thought. In retrospect, I should have ignored skeeter's question altogether since my background had already come out two weeks ago in a response to a question from BuddysWife on February 24th when I had used a mild French expletive. Finally, yesterday, I was really very embarrassed that I didn't know that frogs had toes. And so, I was making a joke at MY expense, mocking my own stupidity...or so I thought. I guess, if something can be misinterpreted, it will be. Someone will always look at things from a different angle, through the prism of their own ideas, or skewed by their own preconceptions. Guys, I just joined this thread to find out information, trade frogs, & have fun in the process. It did not disappoint. I realized in the process that there are strong friendships among many of you & a significant sense of loyalty. That's both understandable & admirable. Still & all, but for a few kind souls' communications, at this point I feel very much like a persona non grata, a kind of Marvin K. Mooney (if I'm allowed one joke for those with kids) in this forum. I need the followers to be working, I have too many already in my friends list for the followers to be playiNg silly buggers. Lol, my list for sending pressies is now way too long, I dont know how to manage it. Breeding high level frogs means that I only have them ready every couple of days and I have more friends than froggies, i hate to send a frog to one person and not to another person, especially if I have been receiving gifts left, right and center too........how do you manage it?
Would you believe that I scrawl names on a bit of paper. When I have mature frogs I send them to the next person on my list. Most of the frogs I find it the pond get sent on too. It does sometimes take a while to respond to everyone but I get there eventually.
The person you had an issue with is no longer a member of TA. Don't let it bother you. As to the members of this thread that were close to Skeeter, although the Frog Share runs independently for the most part, we share the same community and we too have lost a member. In return, we would like to give Paddy back to your group. It was given to us a few days ago, we had a little fun, but in light of current events we would like to return her to you. I have her, please tell me where to send her. Speaking on my own as someone who help start this thread last year, remember that this is a public forum and a worldwide as well. Embrace the diversity of your group and remember we are all different.
Let me just get this straight.........Did Skeeter leave or was Skeeter banned only it says banned under user name and I didnt think what happened in this thread warrented banning did it? I'm a little bit bummed now
Me too, plus is still erratic. I use the notepad function on the phone though, I would lose scraps of paper.

Please, please, if you banned skeeter, I hope to God you reconsider! Yes, I believe that what I wrote was misconstrued but at no time did skeeter use profanity. This is an public forum & should remain that way. Its value is its openness & the ability to have verbal interchanges without flaming. At first, I was just stunned that my humor could be somehow interpreted as sarcasm. That was followed by a deep sadness because I had tried to be a good PF participant & I felt I had done nothing wrong. Next came an internal debate as to whether the interchanges I had so enjoyed here were worth the bad feelings generated & that's what I've been grappling with - whether to stay if I wasn't wanted or whether to remain, hoping things would improve. If you have indeed forbidden skeeter to participate in this forum, then I will regretfully, very regretfully have to leave as well. I never wanted to be at the center of so much controversy, one which could alter the very fabric of this thread which is wonderfully interwoven with friendship, camaraderie, & trust. It could cause other people to leave as well; there could very well be fractures within the remaining group, even bitterness. Please, please, reconsider. In closing, my Plus+ is lisianne but I don't want Paddy back. That story had a great ending with the ransom note by NEG & tasty culinary ending - I mean, people ate it up! p.s.: It's time to get back to the purpose of this group, trading frogs. Speaking of which, if anyone cares to part with a green folium occularis (tried in vain to breed) or only one of each of the others (I have one of each of the three remaining), I'm game. Can trade other Magus or Veru frogs or whatever you're currently collecting, even scenery.
Yes I did put a list through the wash by mistake once. But I find pen and paper is the quickest for me. Are you still breeding inseros at the moment? I have some eggs in the nursery that might be of use to you. I will let you know what appears when they hatch and you can tell me if you need them.

Okay I have hatched them just to see what I had Blue picea Blue chroma Blue calliana. Violet carota. Are any of them any use?
