I'm sorry but I have to put in my two cents worth. Lisianne, you have absolutely nothing to apologize for. This is a public forum, you provide whatever information about yourself that you see fit, and if that's nothing, that's fine too. Keep up with the humorous anecdotes, I immensely enjoy them. As for you skeeter, I tried to stay out of it, but I think it needs to be said. Some of your recent posts have been getting out of hand. I read all posts, and I don't ever recall lisianne ever being rude. I just think you're being overly sensitive. Also, we all know there are trolls on this thread. That is why we previously agreed to just ignore them. There is no need for you to constantly comment every time someone stops by the thread with a demand. Why not give others the chance to fill those requests if they want to? As you might already know, I constantly send out frogs with usually nothing asked for in return, and I usually have no problems gifting to "trolls". I'm sorry if anything I've said doesn't agree with you but I felt it had to be said. Please feel free to reply with your side of the story.
Qwerty, You have not been around or shall I say have not been a regular for a constant period. We (the regulars) agreed to ignore the trolls. Unfortunately a newbie would come in and feed them which made it worse (You can ask BW about that). This thread drove away what "were" the regulars, causing them to have to make a private "invite only" social group to avoid trolls. I, along with others have tried very hard to drive the trolls out so this thread does not go back to what it was. SO I don't appreciate your comments to me. I have worked very hard to keep this thread "troll free". You obviously have not read everything bc I am not the only person in agreement about finding it offensive when a friendly question is asked only to get a smart alec remark in return. This is a trading thread. Maybe you should join the "frog give away thread". Inky along with others have made it clear to trolls that it is inappropriate to come in this thread demanding frogs. I'm sorry that you don't agree. BTW I check the users posts before making a comment. When I see a user who has been disruptive and is a "true troll" ONlY then do I make a comment. So you are out of line there.
BTW Qwerty, they are only recent to "you". If you had been around awhile you would find them normal and acceptable. It's because of this nonsense that regulars leave. Absolutely LOVED paddy's death! She really must have been truly rude if no one really seemed that upset by her death. Did anyone go to the funeral? Major kudos to New England Gamer and sxethang! My foot is on the mend. It appears to be either a very severe bruising or a very minor fracture, either way nothing can be done but trying to stay off it as much as possible- tough to do when you walk and play with dogs all day! I've thought of borrowing a wheelchair and having the dogs pull me around like a chariot but knowing me I'll get a speeding ticket! BTW, the maroon bruna is yours. Well, I got the veru's and magus I needed myself so I just wanted to withdraw my request. I also wanted to say that I was expecting to send equal or greater value frogs in return and wasn't just demanding that you help a stranger. happy frogging to everyone.
I probably should have just said what I really wanted to. Relax. It's just a game. There's nothing on the line. It's not a matter of life and death. If someone happens to send a frog to a troll, the world is not gonna end. I was just making the observation that you shouldn't get so worked up over nothing. It's not good for your health. And the last time I checked, this was still America, the land of the free. If someone wants to post a story here, I'm sure it's not against the law. If you don't like it, feel free to skip right over it. No one's forcing you to read it. And it seems all you can really do about it is leave, as you seemed to imply you would. And as for that "threat", that is mighty arrogant of you. As you mentioned yourself, all those users leaving, and yet the thread goes on without missing a beat. Yeah it would be nice if those users were still here but I'm sure no one's at home crying in their pillow. The same would probably be true if you left. Sorry to state it so bluntly .

I feel a sudden urge to sing small world and hand out candy and pizza. I am not so sensitive either not that there anything wrong with it. I mean the world is filled with all kind of crazy. I really hate fighting and being born libra helps none other than to hate it more. True trolls do make forum life difficult but I don't know how one would rid yourself of them. I mean when I first came here I'm sure peeps (might still) think me trollish. It's hard to join group. I amnot sorry though I came here as I learned about ludo which I somehow missed. Yea I know this is directed at me. I do not try to be a troll. Just because I have stopped coming on all the time? I help people OFF of this thread and through PM all the time. Yes. I only ever ask for help on this thread, but at the moment, I cannot help it. I will never be able to reach level 14 this week.
This is kind of what I'm talking about. People shouldn't feel bad just for coming on an open, public forum asking for help. That's just ridiculous. Seriously, if you don't want to help, don't. But don't make people feel bad for helping or for asking for it. Just leave them alone. Keep the negative comments to yourself. It's that simple.
While I agree with what your saying, if you have been playing with someone for a while I'm sure you might want to know more about them. Unless you only come here for one thing and don't offer help in return, then that's just rude. By that I mean the ones that only show when it's set week.

I hardly see asking someones name when you've been playing with them for months, unreasonable. As NEG stated earlier if someone asks then you can politely decline. Anyone here with half a mind would understand. Anyhow, no harm done. Edit: Btw...I don't see it as trolling either when someone needs help because they don't have xp. It's only when some (with xp) come just for sets or requests and that's all they pop in for. But you are right, ignoring someone usually gets the point across. Like the old saying, "If you have nothing nice to say..."
Honestly, I read through the corresponding posts by lisianne, and I don't recall her ever being rude about not wanting to provide any personal information. So, really, I don't even know what the original argument is about . But like you said, it's time to move on, and get back to why I joined this forum in the first place, and that was to give away frogs. That said, does anyone need anything?
