There was a random snake outside this summer and my dog scared it away snapping at it. The snake actually striked at my dog and got him on the nose then hauled butt. I was crapping my pants scared for my dog. But he just came sat by me and watched the snake go away.

Oh yea. That's my plan but not my husbands lol. I usually get what I want tho. I would make sure he went to the right owners who won't abuse him or put him in danger.

Thanks for the info. I do shower and change after being with the wildlife but I will be twice as careful when I know I'm going to snake houses. And I only handle the snakes if the owner is going to be gone for a while and they have allowed me to visit multiple times before they leave to help the snake get used to me. But I did handle the python at a science museum I worked at. I would keep him in my office when I wanted to keep my snake-petrified boss away. Worked like charm!

Amazingly enough you have to get used to the snake before the snake needs to get used to you. My step daughter has done dropped ours and he didn't even care. I'm sure you've noticed that they mainly just wanna crawl everywhere and check things out. Lol. Good way to keep the boss away!

I'm in Chicago now (born and raised). Parents divorced, mom married someone from there. I've been going down there for as long as I can remember:) Tulane was amazing. The night of the big storm here someone said they were from Il. , that is why I got confused. Maybe it was domenic?? However the snow is getting to me haha So sorry to hear about your bad weather:(

@ BuddysWife: You're welcome! I didn't have any Crustalli handy. :( But I've just finished breeding all the Zebrae. :)

Only about 100 frogs to go for the last award - and it's Friday afternoon, with a three-day weekend ahead. Perfect timing. :)

Skipping the Adamantis and Africanus for now, gonna breed up some Ludos instead. Will share some around when they are done!

Oh it's ok. I love the zebrae you sent! Best of all I didn't have it :D
the only breed I have 100% in is anuras. So anything is welcome but once I'm done with awards I'll be doing the crustallis. And it's getting close. I'm 88% done with the awards.

Sending you a frog to help you with the last award. I think it took me about 17 eggs to go from 4999 to 5000. So hopefully this one will help.
