Don't worry it goes off into frog cyberspace and queues somewhere but it will come back. As long as you press accept every time it will keep coming back till there is room in your mail box.

 

You can't have more than 8 items in your mailbox. That is why you could not accept the gift. once you remove some items it will come back if you hit "accept".

 

Ok thanks I cleared out my mailbox, so it should have space
