Pocket Frogs Trading Thread

I love the new updates for the VIP package! Still trying to get the newest frog, though.

 

I finally gave up and purchased one for $2. I saw one on the first day and was unsuccessful. I haven’t seen another one since.

 

Same thing happened to my wife. Saw it in the pond and had an unsuccessful breed.

 

I am 0 for 3 on Easter egg frogs.

 

Well, my wife got the Easter frog this morning. I still haven’t even seen it. Pretty sick of hopping around aimlessly.

 

I got it yesterday on my seventh attempt. Made a color wheel. Ready to get them behind me.

 

I ended up buying one. Almost done breeding them, then back to waiting for the next.

 

Feeling a little sentimental, thought I'd search for this forum, and was surprised to see not only could I still log in, but that there are a few names I still recognize after ~15 years!

I started Pocket Frogs ~Oct 2010, posted here a little bit back then. First post:

Left the game for about a decade, started again about a year ago (and joined the Discord), made a big push, and got 100% Froggydex yesterday. (Actually, I got it twice in 2 days. Got it, logged in to Discord to post about it, found out the new update just released, updated, and had to re-achieve 100% the next day...)

It‘s so nice that a group of us is still here!
When the Florens appeared I gifted some of them to several people, via the Habitat Menu, gift all. You needed another tamed frog to gift the mythical frog. With that trick I could send them.
But as soon as Nimblebit found out about it, they shut this wormhole down. (Hi Eeen! )
So now I can’t send mythical frogs anymore, sorry for that!
Thanks for all the frogs and scenery that you all gifted to me, I am trying to catch up!

I saw Pocket Frogs post on FB and they said there’s going to be an update this Thursday where your frogs can go on field trips to a new location!

Mine want to go to the Louvre.

 

That would be better than this field full of wasps (I don’t care that they’re supposed to be bees; they look like wasps to me.) Apparently, this is the only place you can get the new frog, and it doubles the price of stamps for each attempt.
