Ah, a question for the ages! I'm sticking with my 4S & won't upgrade until this issue is resolved even though I don't know if I'd be devastated or oddly relieved if my game was wiped out. Like a few others, starting again would be a non-starter for me. Since NB no longer has a forum, it's unclear how often this problem appears. Wish we knew for that's a critical piece of the puzzle. What I would do is keep my old iDevice, if possible, & merely exit PF on it. I'd backup my game both to my computer (& backup its .ipa again, on desktop) & to iCloud. My game would be safe *somewhere*. Then I'd d/l PF onto newer iDevice & log in with same username/pw. If it worked, great. If that didn't work, I'd delete PF on the newest device & delete its .ipa. I'd then try replacing it with the .ipa that I had backed up. I wrote step by step instructions for this on the NB Support Forum (https://getsatisfaction.com/nimblebit/topics/cant_restore_pocket_frogs_data_data_from_older_version_app_newest) two years ago when there was a problem with switching versions with a new iPhone. It's a verrrry long thread, you'll have to wade through it & it might not work for it appears the problem is with the iOS not the PF version). I, personally, wouldn't try it unless I had no other options (e.g. broken iPhone). My only other thought is to contact GC & ask the question prior to moving the game since data is stored on their servers. FWIW, I haven't updated my PF with the "bug fixes" from 9/23. Hey everyone! I'm pretty new to pocket frogs, and I'm currently just collecting every Anura frog so it will become much more streamlined in the future. So far I have access to every frog base coloured and secondary colour save for glass and the colour changing frog. I can't offer much in return (I think I'm almost level 7), but if someone can send me a frog with both characteristics or two frogs with one of each characteristic that'd be awesome! *Whew!! Hey, all! I picked up my new phone this evening, got everything set up and gingerly tapped the PF icon ... and everything's there. Yea! My only precaution was to back it up before I made the change. I also saved the game via iExplorer, but fortunately didn't have to use the backup. Feeling very relieved right now! I had saved to my computer rather than to the cloud--perhaps that made a difference? Timobrow, are you perhaps playing on an Android device? I tried to add you as a friend under your id of PCPVPJ, but couldn't (I'm on an iPhone). Do I have your id correct? Let me know, as I'd be happy to help you out.
Hey Maholha, thanks for replying! I may be getting my code from the wrong place, but at the bottom of the menu screen it says 'NB: PCPVPJ'. By game centre username is Timobrow if that's what you're supposed to use. I left the NB out earlier because I assumed it just stood for Nimble Bit code or something.
Yeah, I haven't even started on Lightbulbs yet. Been too distracted by Motor World Car Factory I'll send you the Persona and the Cornus and the Americano - you can always clone them once you're ready for that set

I'm sorry if this has been answered before, but how do the "special events" arise? As I have been told, there are many species you can only obtain when a "special event" comes up and tells you that you can have that breed if you download some app Yet, I have never been offered a special event... Can anyone clarify? thanks!
