I don't want to flood MBs randomly. :D So, I just came in to tell that I have three sets of Pirates to share. :)

I feel so accomplished! I bred my first Chroma using two non-Chroma frogs. Azure Follium Infinitas and Golden Floris Axis were the key. However, I cannot find much logic in this. I attempted to breed the Infinitas with an Orange Floris Infinitas thinking the secondary color pairing was the key, but no Chroma came about. So... I think I shall do more experimenting with this until I understand the logic. Even though there might not be any. Oh well, I'm going to try any way.

Just attempted the to breed the Infinitas with a Golden Floris Pictoris. No Chroma luck. I can't much sense of it still.

I'm going to be away for October. Conveniently I will actually have access to the iOS 6 device with my progress saved for part of it, but I don't think I'll be posting, so have a fun month :).

lisianne, I'm fascinated by your style of play, which is pretty much the opposite of mine.
I also am not mad about receiving frogs, but for a different reason - my mailbox is full most of the time because it is a resource I like to maximise. An empty slot is wasted growth, so a number of gift frogs fall on stony ground with me.

Keeping frogs in the habitats is also inefficient of course, since it denies further growth of XP and gold. Of course, the only frogs I grow are Set animals and the most expensive (Fortuna etc) since lesser frogs take the same time for less value. Anything else gets blasted into oblivion as a very small egg............

I did spend cash on the game for breeding habs, because I thought the cost was reasonable. I've always felt that the price charged for computer games is madness relative to the amount of programming required. I am happy to pay about $5 for a good game, and I'm sure the industry would make much higher profits if they lowered their prices drastically. Just look at the number of apps that get bought for $1

No Lisi, I'm not trading on my iPhone. It's too much effort keeping two games going at once. :)

The reason I'm at level 39 already is because of the new frogs... they're worth so much experience to breed that the lower levels just zoomed by!! Some levels you'd only need to breed a few habitats worth of your highest level frog and up you went! And I just hit level 40 now.

JackaboomU, about to send you another PM. Mobage is a pain in the youknowwhat...

We may be more alike than you imagine

I ALSO prize my MB slots. When I had too many "friends" & was reciprocating immediately, I could never keep a frog or other gift I stumbled upon in the pond or order an Anura for breeding purposes. So we both like to maximize the MB but for you it means keeping it full & for me it means never keeping it totally full. Empty is another story.

OK, so it's inefficient. Point taken. But I don't have the desire, time, or energy to breed a frog as soon as it's mature.

Like you, however, I'm interested in increasing my XP for it means getting to higher levels, potentially finding more stamps & potions in the pond. Like you, my other focus is Weekly Set frogs. Like you, I delete breeding Anuras as eggs but that's about it.

Like you, I thought the game was fun & the devs needed to be rewarded for their hard work so I forked over $5 for the Express MB (which I wanted) & sprung for the Babyproofing Kit (which I didn't want at the time but was eventually glad I purchased). I'd even buy an Express Nursery if it existed. Hmmm, maybe some day.

Now, to the extent that you are 'dexing, we are vastly different. I can admire but don't pretend to understand those here who spend an enormous amount of time in this pursuit.

@dlstar: Thanks for the explanation of how you attained the stratospheric level of 40. Makes sense. Will put you on my "hold" list which is comprised of people I think may be taking a break or I simply can't bring myself to delete.

p.s.: Thanks to Snappy for the Mustacium, meplie for the Flecto & Flecto, Andi for the Scutulata, & Madmaze for the 2 Favus.

p.p.s.: Someone sent me a Golden Chroma Fortuno but didn't notice the name for I was taming a frog in the pond. Speak up so I can thank you properly.

    'Twas I, Lisi!

I've been dexing by color again, this time using the various breeds rather than anuras (which is how I did a lot of the first generation of PF). Tangelos are going much more quickly than the reds did. Although I really don't see how it could go much more slowly. ;)

Many thanks to Heeranc, XXXbr, Quossum, Dean, Snappy, Andi. Lisi, Paula and Meplie for the froggy gifts. May the flies and gifts be plentiful, and may your ponds never run dry.

Welcome to the PF trading thread!
Trivium sent. Any questions or missing breeds, just ask. If you know of someone who doesn't have a specific breed yet, please share with them. Thanks. :)

If that happened, I would just feel awful for those anonymous fish at the bottom.

I am pretty sure getting chromas is purely by random chance, FYI. If you need some, I'd be happy to fork over a couple of high level (for me) ones. I also have some glass chromas.

Just finished Pirates, anyone want to trade them for Firefighters? Or anyone want them, period?

    Thanks to

    Maholah for a flecto
    Dean for a templum
    Jackaboom for a biplex
Dom for the part of the set I needed
    Paula for an igneous

    Adios!

Oh no need for that, I'm just trying to do just to do it and possibly figure out some logic to it. If there's any.
