Hey everyone, almost finished working on dexing levars, just have some green/lime/marine colors to go if anyone wants some, let me know - i've been sending each color as a whole set to some people, just because i hate to break up a "set" if this is still useful to some people, especially to dexers or to anyone who needs higher level frogs for coins, i'll be happy to send them forward tired of dexing, my next plan is to work on past sets, but unlike jonswan, i'm much slower! =) just finished the "fractals" set (week 20) if anyone else wants it also thanks for all the gifts from everyone, I used to be more methodical about keeping track of who sent me what and what I sent back in a huge spreadsheet, but it was adding stress and taking away fun from the game - now I do a more simple one to one exchange - and I just try to reciprocate every gift that comes my way though I love keeping up with this thread, i'm not really as active as others in posting, but I'm pretty active in the game feel free to add me: heeranc80 thanks!

Clarification: PF is a game. Games are for fun. No one is obligated to stick around helping others once s/he finishes playing & no one will be judged harshly for leaving when done (IMO). My hope is that this thread can continue & that usually requires committed participants not necessarily dedicated frog philanthropists (tho' they most assuredly help). I have a feeling that no one (except Dom & Dean) really knows what type of time & commitment this entails. Unless someone *REALLY* wants to do it, it'd suck all the joy out of the game in short order. I doubt anyone will hold you to this generous offer. Hello back at you. May you play long & prosper! I'm getting that message too, but I don't have any gifts in queue. Not sure what to do, but I reported it to Nimblebits. They got back right away and also recommended logging out of GC. "There may be a connection issue with your Game Center account. To resolve this, please try force closing the app and then logout and back into your Game Center account. If you are running iOS 5 or 6, open the Game Center app on your device, go to the "Me" tab and then "Account" and logout and back into your Game Center account. If you are using iOS 7, go to your device's Settings app and into the Game Center section. Then tap on your Apple ID to logout and back in." And it worked!
Thanks to Yasha, I now have this weeks full set ready to gift for anyone who needs it. I also have starters for weeks 29-38 of this year ready to go. For now I'm not working on sets unless they're new ones that come about. I'd rather just focus on leveling up and dexing as I go. Woohoo - I got my Galaxy back yesterday afternoon, although I had to work last night so didn't have much time to play with it, what with having to make cakes and wrap birthday presents for youngest tadpole... Anyway, after getting home late, and showering etc, I hopped into bed, opened up Pocket Frogs, logged into Mobage and ... nothing. Back to 2 frogs, 2 habitats and nothing much of anything else. Was very confused (remember, it's late and I'm tired), checked Mobage, discovered 30 friends and almost as many friend requests... wtf??? And some of those friends were some of you lot... got more confused... So I went to the help page, and looked around for a bit before deciding I should probably just go to sleep and tackle it later. As I was drifting off to sleep, something fizzled into my brain and I realised that Mobage is Plus... or had some kind of link with it anyway, and I'd logged in with the wrong account! So this morning I logged out, logged back in with the other account, and voila! All my froggies were back!! JackaboomU - what kind of gifts do you want once we're proper friends ? I have a couple of award sets in my habitats atm that I could send you, plus a set from about 3 weeks ago (which I haven't redeemed yet, so need to catch up first) and plenty of crustalli, as they're my breeding wheel. Of the potion only frogs I have Ludo, Tribus, Lanterna, Glacio, Marinus, Orbis, Persona, Vinaceus, Bulla and Trivium. Still waiting for a few of the other ones to show up in the Frogmart. I'm level 39, but only 6% of the dex. If you want to do most of it on your own I'm cool with that, but happy to help out and trade too
I am confused and excited about your story. Firstly, are you saying that when you log on to Mobage with the email you registered w/PF & GC, that all your friends will show up there? And your habs & frogs & awards etc from your GC game? Just wondering if I could log onto my GC game from there or not. Secondly, yay potion frogs! Those are the ones I miss the most, especially the low-level ones that I could be dexxing more easily, like Tribus & Glacio. The set I'm on right now is Firefighters, so if you've got a set before that, it won't be too useful to me yet, since I'm only level 10 there and can't get past Firefighters or anything else that's going to be coming up soon! This may be just me, but are you ever in the pond and spot that one frog you like while you're taming one, and then just start circling it until you've tamed it? Afterwards, do you chase the frog constant until you finally can breed with it, whilst blurting out random pick up lines? Well, I do. It's odd I know, but it keeps the game interesting and fun. xD Anyways, serious question now, I need help keeping my habitats clean, I constantly hoard and it's a disaster. Any tips on making sure they don't get too filled up? Or some pointers on how you keep yours clean? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Yes, I will also circle a frog while taming it to then breed with the wild pond frog. Especially if my MB is full and I can't order the Anura I need at that moment. And about keeping the habitats clean. Hmmm. Not very good at that. But I'm good at frog collecting. So I will list the reasons why I hoard so many frogs at once. 1. Representatives of most unfinished breeds (especially for good racers). Why? So when the weekly sets come out I can increase my chances of winning a frog which at least matches the primary or second color. This week I raced my two Bulbi and after a few tries won a Royal Albeo Calvaria which I could breed to a Black Anura for this week's set. I don't normally keep Calvaria due to limited space and because I can win one by racing a Bulbus. Also, It would cost much more to clone one from the dex. 2. Frogs from friends that match my one of my color schemes and that are eye-catching. If good racers I will often keep them. 3. If I am working on a particular breed, I will keep finished colors for racing or a recently finished breed (the Emblema) to win (Fortuno in this case) through racing. Yes, I find the first is what I've been doing recently. I also have frogs that are gifted which are higher leveled frogs that I hold on to until I reach that level and can use them. Then I have others with lowered level frogs that you can only get from the shops, along with some endangered and early legendary, so I don't have to go through the hassle of cloning and waiting for delivery (or spending extra stamps for that matter). Sadly I'll probably never have my habitats in a cleaner state.
I try to keep it selective. I have a particular color preference (I love lime, brown, aqua, golden, black, white, glass, beige, but can't stand anything red, yellow, blue, or ceres) and if the particular color combination isn't appealing, I send the frog on. Also, I don't keep anything more than three levels above mine- I send them on to higher levellers after cataloging them for later use. Just what I do. Good night to all and to all a good night, BBK
Only the friends from when Pocket Frogs was still on the Plus network, sadly. No awards, sets, frogs or habitats. Hence my confusion in my almost asleep state the other night. I double checked whilst back on my iPhone, Pocket Frogs IS NOT linked to Mobage on ios, even though another game I am playing is (Motor World Car Factory... I've been playing it on the iPhone whilst the Galaxy was away, and am now in the process of sending myself all the premium currency I'd earned by challenging myself to races, and making sure my iPhone game loses!) Anyway, I haven't seen a friend request from you yet... do you use the same id there as in GC? I'll keep looking... Gotta go to work soon, so I'd better get myself ready.
