Huh? Your darling "tadpole" gets a déjà used phone?! Regifting frogs is one thing, dlstar but... Further, if/WHEN you come back, think of all those "back Weekly Sets" you'll have to do. Don't you at least want to keep up with them?

Congrats on your new Android level, Dark Laser Star & ditto that to rquilt on getting to level 46!

Think I'd rather have a frog in my throat...

As someone who appreciates the hard work which went into the creation of the spreadsheet & understands its value to those who are furiously 'dexing, I personally don't use it. Nor do half of the current & former forum posters with whom I continue to trade. I'd hate to think that anyone new to this forum would assume that it was the "sine qua non" of participation in this thread. Honestly, if I were new & that were the case way back when, I don't think I would have stayed.

Sorry that that I've stepped on who knows how many toes & webbed feet here, but I feel I must speak up as an advocate for personal choice & privacy. If you want to add yourself to the spreadsheet, by all means, do so. If not, you won't be an instant pariah, Grotesque.enigma.

p.s.: Thanks so much to meplie for the Templum & dlstar for the Cornus (he's been boozing it up in my MB & now the "Cornus is high as an elephant's eye!")

I'll try to explain why I did it and why I appreciate those who fill it.

I have a lot of friends who play PF (about 55 friends). I try to send frogs to everyone as regularly as possible but the higher the frogs, the longer it takes to tame them. Since I still breed V1 frogs (which takes way less time to tame), it help me send more frogs to everyone more often. When I ship V1 frogs, I will often ship more than one at the same time. But all those cost stamps and call me selfish but I prefer sending frogs to peoples knowing they probably don't have them already, especially if I use 5-10 stamps to send frogs to someone. Also I like helping peoples so when I send useful frogs, I am happy :)

But I always said that, even if it would be fun if everyone would be in, I know this will never be the case and I still send frogs to those not in the list. This was never mandatory lol. And I really understand and respect anyone who don't want to fill it. I don't want it to be a burden or a source of conflict either. I just created it for those who want to use it. That's all. :)

Uh.... The weirdest thing just happened to me while I was in the pond. I had a Violet Viola Pingo I was taming, there were about fifteen flies left to tame. I go to hit a lily pad below the frog to catch one, and the frog never landed on the lily pad. It just kept... Soaring? I guess you would call it. No matter how many times I tapped the frog or the pads that it passed by, the frog wouldn't stop. Finally, I just had to leave the pond, after I collected enough flies and passed a few gifts ( ;-; ) So I'm just wondering, have any of you guys experienced this before? I never have until now, not even in the first version. So I must say, that was my shock of the day. xD

Great response, meplie. Understand that I've been trying to support this forum with posts & Weekly Sets for the longest time. Not at Dom's level for the latter (like who could do that?!), but still caring deeply about this forum & devoted to its growth & continuation.

My post could have been worded better, more clearly, that's ABSOLUTELY certain. "Act in haste, repent at leisure," they say. Oh, so true. My leisure will be a bit of an absence. Can't say I don't need it anyway since I'm wicked tired. Bottom line: no harm done. Honestly.

Again, thanks for the clarification, meplie.

    Best to all.

Oooh, you got a flying frog! It's a glitch that I've heard about but never experienced myself. Someone posted a video of it here not too long ago and I couldn't believe my eyes.

Terra, I hope your baby and your ipod come soon. :D

Thanks to RQuilt, JKLau, meplie, MartiNZ & AndiNZ for the many frogs!

If I could've recorded it I would, but I could only get screen shots. Nice to know this game always has surprises though. x3

Well, while I sit here in my room across the pond in London, I decided to work on this week's set. Starter sets are going out soon. Please ask away if needed.

Believe me, s/he will be thrilled with it! Traditionally the first phone is the cheapest, nastiest little phone we can find. If it has any games at all, it would be snake. So my little tadpole is going to be one very happy little frog! Said tadpole also wants a laptop, a scooter, an electric butterfly in a jar, a range of Minecraft stuff (t-shirts, posters etc) and Skyrim time :D:D:D Actually looking at this list, there's an awful lot of Minecraft stuff on it!!

I will have lots of fun catching up on all those backsets if/when I ever come back to IOS.

BTW, does anyone know, do frogs stay in the ether indefinitely or is there are ticking timebomb whereupon they then implode or otherwise dissolve into not being there anymore?

I have that butterfly in a jar. It is cool though probably loses the novelty fairly quickly. Fun to trick people though.

OK, I know that cool stuff sometimes takes time to filter through to us here in the Antipodes, and I don't have any offspring to keep me up with such things either so - what in blazes is an electric butterfly in a jar?

I'd google it, but I'm a bit scared to... :p

Thank you to my trading buddies for keeping my mailbox from looking neglected; no chance of that with you guys around!

PS, if you've been hearing about *another* earthquake here today, yes it was freaky, but around here it was mostly harmless, though some damage is being reported further south. Just hope that's the worst of it, we don't need another big, city-wrecking quake in NZ, we're not over the last one yet!
