Well at first we were really only in it for the achievements, and I think we had the dex before we finished them .. but couldn't be sure.

As far as I know, no one thought of dexing as we take it for granted today until I decided I was sick of not having Tribus around (we all got one free at launch), and went out of my way to complete them as a breed. Later they added an achievement for completing one breed!

Looking at my screenshots, I had reached fake 10% of the old dex and completed Tribus and Stellata by the end of October 2010. The froggydex came out 25 September 2010, so it was actually only 2 weeks after the start lol.

Oh how far we have come!!

 

War and Peace was shorter.

Skeeter left the thread under something of a cloud, IIRC. I don't know (or need to know) the gory details, but I think there was a flame war of some kind? Water under the bridge now.

Last I heard from Lizardofyfe, a good while ago, she wasn't well. I hope she is fully recovered, but I guess her enthusiasm for PF has waned in the meantime.

Couldn't tell you about the others.

By the time I found PF, there was at least a froggydex; couldn't clone from it, though.

Which means my phone will be due for an upgrade as well, though that's not exactly surprising, it's the oldest currently-supported model these days. Thanks for the heads-up.

Locama0, thanks for the steady stream of Nasus frogs. I'm sure I've not seen the last of 'em but I really do appreciate your generosity. What are you dexxing next? I'd love to be able to reciprocate!

No idea what the Bubbly & Fireworks set is, but I'd appreciate a Signum frog if you've got no takers.

Nearing the end of my Ludo & Partiri dex. Sent a few pairs of frogs out for the Jailbirds set without a heads-up, I hope the recipients figured out what they were for Anyone needing easy access to frogs for Jailbirds, 2 bee or not 2 bee, and Candy Stripes sets lemme know!

 

I have just completed breeding Bulbus (all the people I have been gifting Bulbus to collectively rejoice as they are sick of seeing them from me)

Now onto Magus which should go fairly quickly as I only have 138 left, sure beats the full 368 needed per breed....If anyone has any Magus that they do not need I will gladly take them off of your hands. The gifts will not go unrewarded of course.

With that last Bulbus, I am 2 frogs away from 20,000 total and a matter of points away from Level 44. Just think without that last monster of an update I would be at 100% dexed

I was happy with all the bulbus you sent. Each one was one less to dex I will not dex Magus for a white but since I know you do them in order, I should have Signums to send you in the next few days.

Thanks for the offer but I'm good for now . I've got Zebrae 80% completed with Ludo being next.

I'm dexing the faster maturing (lower level) frogs while waiting for Nebula to mature using MartiNZ's modified color wheel, two habitats with all 16 secondary colors.

 

Thanks to you, my olive zebraes are 100% done now, thanks again!

 

LOL love the terminology - there will be books published about the game with sections on "the modified MartiNZ" - for short .
