Here are some memory saving tips for iPod 4Gs especially (Not enough RAM on these). These tips will help PF (or any compatible App for that matter) run more smoothly. Hope these help anyone who may not have tried them before.

    1. Quit any unused Apps. Some use very little system resources, but others can use much more. Press home button twice, touch and hold to close apps.

    2. Use a solid color wallpaper (I used the free Flashlight App to pick a custom color, then took a screenshot and set it as the home screen background.) This frees up MBs of memory if you have been using a high-res photo wallpaper.

    3. Reboot your device. (Hold power button and then slide to power-off). Turn it back on when ready to restart.

Thanks to Dlstar for a Mazeus and three Spinae,
    ADP for three Favus,
Dom for Camping out starters (will send out once they are ready.)

and anyone else who sent gifts recently. :)

    Good evening to all.

I should have the Quilting set tamed by the end of the day, if anyone else wants a crack at it.

Also I'm considering making a serious effort to multi-species dex the bottom 4 species I haven't done yet, Crustalli-Velatus-Clunicula-Marmorea. From what I've been reading, it's the same rainbow wheel, but you use the four different species instead of all one species. (I'd mentioned previously I was going to try to multi-dex last time round, but it got confusing and I abandoned it early.)

Has anyone tried this? There are claims that it's more efficient and will bring up your dex faster, with fewer repeat frogs. I get a lot of satisfaction from dexxing, but I have tons of repeat frogs. Maybe I should just get used to that as a part of dexxing?

I'd love to hear if anyone has a system that really works for them.

    Looking for Vinaceus frogs

Hope I spelled the frog name right! Looking for a Vinaceus frog for my "frankenstein" wheel. Anyone willing to part with this frog? My GC ID is iluvjae

I do two patterns at a time, half my breeding wheel is one pattern, half is the other. It takes a bit longer than doing 1 pattern at a time, but I reckon less time if I sum up the days it takes to dex both patterns individually. Make sense?

I've dexxed the lower levels fully so if you need some colors to start or fill in your wheel let me know! Else, have fun!

Hm..? So. Do you think NB will ever stop adding new frogs to this game? And if no, then are we all just playing forever? :D

    Somewhere else
Personally, I doubt it, though they probably won't be as ambitious as the last time almost doubling the number of frogs. If a game/app is "untended" long enough either people delete it, figuring the devs have abandoned it, or an iOS update prevents if from running. Either way, the app/game dies off. I have had quite a few apps which fell into this category.

As for "playing forever," that's what you get when players request an update and/or the devs seek to "freshen" the game & maybe add a new monetizing idea: the devs "move the goal posts." I've never been drawn to 'dexing but, if I had been, logic (& the last update) would have convinced me that it would probably be a fruitless endeavor.

That is not to say I don't admire those who persist in seeking the perfect 100%. Wish I had that much unbridled enthusiasm, patience, sheer dedication, & free time. My goals, on the contrary, are modest.

p.s.: Lots of thanks since I'm way behind. To Maholah for the Fortuno, jklau for the Vicis & Nodare, XXX for the Pyramis, Snappy for the Foramen & Dimidius, awboj for the Emblema, Martin for the Quilta, meplie for the 2 Fractus, Adp for the 2 Favus, Gemma, & Fortuno, Madmaze for the Emblema, Andi for the Pulvillus, & Ella for the Corona & Pictoris.

When that update came out, the bolded part to me was spot on. Pre-update I had about 80-85% dexed (can't remember exact number). That update knocked me down to just between 40-45%. It was disheartening to say the least, and I was contemplating just throwing in the towel. However, I figured that I have gotten this far...might as well keep going for that ever elsuvie 100%...even though as you said...it is most likely a fruitless endeavor *sigh*

    I have a Vinaceous. Gifted!

Thanks for sharing your breeding strategy. I'm still mulling how to go about it, but it does seem like breeding more than one species at a time might be a fun challenge.

Exactly :( I was at 91% then all the sudden 49 ? 48 ? Something that made me quit for the 4th time. I don't know why I keep dexting. :) well it's mind knumbing, hopping around the pond especially, shuts off whatever I was bothered by. But, now I'm wondering if anybody with a build up of stamps wants to systematically trade to double dexting speed. :D But that said, it would have to be a weekly trade as I run out of potions..

I am only at 32% of dexing and changed a lot of time the way I was dexing because it takes too much time to tame 100% of one patern for my patience, especially with the long time for the frogs to mature. And I got bored fast.
When I started playing again, a couple of weeks ago, I found a new way of dexing which I like very much.

When I receive a frog from a friend of by the pond, I keep it. Then I dex all 16 complementary colors for this frog. This way, it takes me about 2 days to do it and I can change pattern after that. I never get the same pattern so it is not boring and since my Anura base set is all mixed up (I made sure that the 2 colors on each frog gives a good contrast), I get lots of different colors in my habitats. So I feel I am going foward toward dexing them all but without being bored because I get stuck on a pattern or color I less like.
