I know the "neighbors" feature in Game Center is a little behind on what it shows for points/habitat occupants for other players, but I pretty much figure the two people who are above level 58 in my friends list probably weren't level 17 at the last update. Which means they've been playing a while, with no new frogs at all. And will be, unless of course there are more new frogs in our future. Now I know everyone has an opinion about this, but S tells me in gamer land when the game designers/coders fix stuff, it's a good sign because they haven't abandoned the game. If S knows anything, he knows a lot about gaming, LOL. Yes I said that. But only because he just wore out another controller. I'm not sure if NB's attention means more future levels and new frogs or not, but the watch a promo video for a stamp/potion feature is an interesting strategy. Of course they may have added the video for a bonus feature to other NB games as a revenue stream and knew it would be kind of shoddy to add that feature in game that wasn't working quite correctly... I suppose I could email the nice person over there who responded to my question about the timing of the fix to the fix, but I'm afraid I'd not get the answer I wanted to hear I will note that when I emailed her part of her reply mentioned that they knew that all our gift frogs were "going through the server" which means NB has a pretty good handle on the number of players and their activity level. You are always welcome to send me a starter set Lisianne, but my this-weeks-set hab is currently occupied by an almost grown Memorial Day set : ( I won't turn down the coin though - especially considering the number of tries it took me to breed that red albeo Frondis.

Thanks to RQuilt for the bunch of Bulbus and the Americano AndiNZ for the Pulvillus JKLau for the Pulvillus (the chroma are cool!) and the Palma Lisianne for the Fortuna Meplie for the Aceris Lermshell for the arbor and the Figularis I brought my iPad (and frogs, of course) with me on a weekend getaway, since my crowd all ends up sitting around and device gaming at one point or another. I got a lot of commentary about the notebook. It's the only way I can keep track when I 'dex! And keep track of gifts.

Finally stumbled up to level 35. I can't believe it - okay that's too dramatic. But I can remember back in my early days of PF and finding this thread, there were several participants that were already beyond level 30 in V1, and I was thinking that is just impossible! I'm glad PF doesn't track how much time I've spent in the game (as I was shocked to discover just such a stat in Bejeweled - and then realizing the time was in hours, not minutes!). I remember someone once used flies eaten as a means to estimate time in the game - no way am I going to search for that post. It had been added to Tiny Tower & Pocket Planes prior to PF, if I recall correctly. It's clearly a purely voluntary, monetizing feature which is also advantageous to the player. This is similar to online videos that have dubious advantage for the viewer except to keep site financially viable. I do get annoyed when, after paying for a NY Times subscription, I STILL have to wait for a promo video to end to see a news clip. Talk about getting clipped! Kind of scary. Yet it's probably how NB & other companies convince other devs to pay $$$ (vs. $) to air their promos! In terms of privacy, about as appealing to me as Google Glass. You don't need it & Snappy doesn't either. I'll simply keep the Starter Sets (two Frondis, two Americanos) for a day or so to see if someone in the forum needs it. I DO have an extra Red Americano & I JUST sent you that! p.s.: Thanks so much to Adp for the Favus & Pulvillus, meplie for the Arcus, & Mal for the Favus & Dimidius. p.p.s.: To repeat, I have a full Memorial 2013 Set (or two Starter Sets) or any frogs within those sets available to someone who needs all or part of them. I just had a cunning plan for a round-robin of weekly set gifting that'll catch up both meplie & myself on the sets. Dean has the following: Memorial Day Earth Day Wet Paint Pot of Gold - Nodare gone, Lunaris still available Road Signs Maori Tattoo Happy Birthday Mom A Kiss Parrots I've got Memorial Day and Pot of Gold (since I just got the Nodare from Dean). Then I'll need everything thereafter. meplie needs all of them. (I think - but maybe you got Memorial Day from Dom already?) What if... Dean gifts Memorial Day through Wet Paint to meplie. Then I gift Pot of Gold to meplie. Then Dean gifts me Road Signs through Parrots, and I gift them all in order to meplie I feel brilliant right now. What do you guys think? Feel free to tell me to butt out if all that's too much trouble!
