So I emailed NimbleBit this morning.

And they got back to me a little while ago.

They've submitted the fix to Apple who must approve it before it gets released. Could be as early as tomorrow and as late as next week :/

At least the ball is in Apple's court right now...

I have not updated yet. Anyone in my circle that has, hold your love until the patch comes out. If you've not updated, we're cool.

So people are loosing their mailboxes? What's up?

Good for you! I certainly counted on peeps like you finding the bugs & having them squashed, decimated, eradicated. You're a real risk-taker, Martin, one can tell by your game play. Bravo for your unfettered courage.

Why not defriend Nirtew (temporarily), ask a forum friend if your habs look normal, then refriend him/her? How many words did I just make up in the previous sentence?! Is that an iron-clad reason for banishment from this forum, Cygnet?

Good for you, Adp!!! Let's hope it's sooner rather than later.

BUT, what if it comes out after the new Weekly Set is released?! As it is, I've been gifting as if things were going swimmingly but maybe I should stop lest MBs get overfull. Gifts were sent in good faith, I just didn't think it through. Duh!

Phew! You so happen to be on my gifting list for tomorrow along with Andi so that's OK for you, right? Preferences, Andi?

As for people losing their MBs (unless you means frogs sent to MB after update), blame my memory but I don't recall anyone complaining of that. What critical piece of info did I miss?

p.s.: Thanks to Snappy for the Fortuno.

Oh Lord, I wish that was the worst I had to worry about.

Oh no, I'm just coming in the middle of all this and was curious what the bugs were. I think this must have started when I was in China. And what's all this Bengazi stuff?

Good evening to all (if its night for you, or good day otherwise :)

I have not updated PF yet and it looks like I will wait until the next update is approved and known to work properly.

MartiNZ, I do not have a Twitter or facebook account either, though I have viewed what others have posted on occasion. IMHO, they are both fads, but esp. facebook.
I also dislike how they are foisted upon us as a requirement for discounts or contests.
Moreover, as for Mac OS, I am comfortable with keeping Snow Leopard, as the software I use continues to run fine on it. If it isn't baroqueÂ… then it's not from the 17th century! On second thought, I should leave these puns to the experts and remember to deactivate my Time Machine before I go to bed.

Thanks Lisi for the Wet paint starter set. Looks like I am about eight weeks behind on my MB. eek! I will have to use more of my stamp stash than I expected.

Thanks also to Nirtew for an Emblema,
    Kane Toad for a Hennae

and anyone else who sent gifts recently.

    Agreed on all counts.

And I only just got your pun while typing this reply :D.

None at all. Though I have only a handful of Symphonia left to breed, so maybe not those? :) I haven't updated yet, so no problems there.

On that note, I'll suspend my usual wholesale gifting until the fix is out, cos there's no way I will remember who has upgraded and who hasn't. Looks like things will be back to normal soon, anyway.

@ Snappy: Are you me, in disguise? Your comments about FB, Twitter and still running Snow Leopard on the Mac - I could have written an identical post. Though I do leave the puns to Lisianne. :D

Well - for a given value of 'normal'. :p

Nature abhors stasis as much as it abhors a vacuum. What's "normal," IMO, is a constantly shifting definition as viewed through an infinite number of eyes, filtered through an infinite number of perceptions. But enough gobbledegook.

I have a FB account but only use it as a portal to keep in touch with friends & family (translation: my kids made me open it!) Likewise I have a Twitter account although I highly dislike the idea of people in the perpetual process of self-promotion. Again, it's for passive use, to follow people other than friends or family.

I categorically refuse to link either account to anything, not my mail, not to each other, nothing. Once I d/led an app which had registration via FB & I promptly deleted it.

Back to frogs. Something eerily pre-forum about few gifts but at least I'm not suffering from MB-clog which is the worst! That Pocket Drano is pricey!

p.s.: Thanks for the Fortuno, Snappy, & for the great pun -- music to my ears. ;)

p.p.s.: Forgot to mention I also appreciated the oh so subtle & thus immensely clever "Pocket Lice" comment written in response to a post of mine a while back (I think it was Martin).

    Hi, all!

I came back to the forum to make sure I'm not the only one who hasn't been receiving gifts--I was pretty sure you all weren't in collusion against me! I've tried several times to catch up with the forum posts since I've been gone, but frankly there's just too much to read. While that's a good sign of a healthy discussion, it makes for difficulty when time is scarce for reading froggy forums. That said, I'll just jump back in here.

Prior to the update (I think!) I was caught up with trading. If not, feel free to let me know after the gifting issues are worked out. Sorry for the lag times; I'd been helping a friend with her goals and kind of got frogged out for awhile.

Currently I'm not really doing much breeding at all, but I'm up to 69% primarily via racing.

And of course I want to thank my trading friends: Quossum, Dean, Lisi, Snappy, Croqueta, DLStar, Andi, Jklau, Javarich, Nirtew, Xxxbr, MartiNZ, Dom and anyone else I may have missed. Please forgive my lags at times in reciprocating; as I'd mentioned, I was all "frogged out," but I'm back to daily playing now. ;)

Argh! I'm in this holding pattern with full habs/mature tamed frogs and no more room at the inn : (

Don't want to sell the frogs I was planning on gifting, don't want to just send them out in the ether until gifting is fixed...

How ironic, I've got time for frogs but they don't have time for me!

I just got to lvl 45 / 62% and dexting the 1st 17 New frog breeds by color ( Templum to Planeta ) got Maroon to Tangelo dexted. :) so am now on Orange and will gift the breeds when I get 16/16.

There was an update ... but it was for Temple Run 2! Never mind, that's like the only other iOS game I'm playing so that can't be bad :D. More of you guys need to play it so I have some competition!

OMG! You evil, evil, evil person! Not only did you send me, I'm guessing, a full MB full of the ugliest frog (the Cornus) but you clogged me on purpose?!

And this, ladies & gentlemen, is why I'm not a 'dexer. Further, this is why some of you will find Cornus frogs coming to a MB near you soon.

Well, you inspired me. If I piled all the Cornus you sent me end to end, I could break out in song with the stanza from "Oh What a Beautiful Morning": "the Cornus as high as an elephant's eye.."

p.s.: Thanks to ??? for the ??? (first thing in morning, went by too fast, pressed sell without seeing what it was...ack!), jklau for the Foramen, &, you guessed it, dlstar for a galaxy's worth of Cornus.
