Sorry I didn't vote, but honestly I don't care what the thread is called, and considering how popular the thread is, I wonder if changing the name could be detrimental? Do we really care about Android and what's going on there? What I would like to see, is a sticky post #1 that highlights some etiquette for this thread, eg. ask nicely, say thank you, give something in return (it is a 'trading' thread after all not charity) etc. a lot of people when posting on a new forum will look at page 1 to glean the 'rules' of the thread, but we don't have any. It's no wonder then that people jump straight in with 'I want this or that', and once they receive it are never to be seen again - well until the next time they need something. We might even consider sticky #2 outlining some newbie tips with things that are repeatedly asked here. Like what happens when you receive a frog when the mailbox is full etc. Dexing advice for those so inclined. I'm not even sure this would be possible, but I think it would be a good idea. That would say more about our philosophy and purpose than a name, which may be confusing/misleading? We are the PF Trading thread are we not?
Have the boat set in its entirety (minus one blue aurum axis....I accidently sold it after claiming the rewards...whoops). Does anyone want/need it?
Sounds like a whole lot more administration ... I wanna pass this back to lisi when she returns then . It would be nice to have a few guidelines for new recruits, but to be fair I don't feel that we have many rules that are out of the ordinary. The 'send something back' line is one of those things that should sort itself out, people that don't may just find they don't get much in the first place. For myself, as I tend not to keep perfect track of gifters, I just try to cover a good number of people with my outgoing gifts. I liked your earlier comment of doing a MartiNZ as well . I was down below 100 coins while setting up Palma and Axis breeders, and selling off half-baked end-of-line Arcus specimens to be able to afford to beat the bad odds I was experiencing! The double seems to be going well though, it seems when there are many as 5/8 possibilities of new frogs from a pair breeding, it's better than the as many as 2/4 I usually run with ... maths eh ?
