Indeed, starting off the set trail randomly :). Mine are growing so I'll have set frogs to send out in 1.5 days' time or so. I'm not as organised as other setters here.

    Levar, Pistrix, Nebula, Quilta

Hey all, I have somehow managed to get to level 33 without trading, but I did miss some frog breeds along the way that I can't seem to find. Can anybody spare one of these, any color? I would be happy to send any other frogs not of these breeds in reply.

    Levar
    Pistrix
    Nebula
    Quilta

Thanks so much. Gamecenter name is klickyfan.

Thank you MartiNZ for the Pulvillus this (my) morning. I don't believe Favus are on your list.

I tried to solve my identification issues, Lisianne... Won't know till I click "submit reply"

I'm jealous of you and Ella. We could use some rain! And yesterday hit 33.8c (93f) which is very hot for this part of the US in April.

    Thanks for Levar

Thanks so much! I just added you as a friend on GC. Never done this before so let me know if there is anything else I need to do... and if there are any frogs you'd like!

Way to go, Ella! Time for others to throw pennies or whatever loose change they have into the pond.

    CONTEST: to rename this thread

PRIZE: The pride from having your words appear in our forum name
RULES: Name should have something to do with PF & hopefully comprise in its name & description what this thread is about (note how Cygnet named the Android thread). Participants can submit as many suggestions as they can dream up.
WINNER: Will be chosen by Cygnet in any way s/he prefers; I'm merely the conduit for suggestions & potential participant.

You piqued my curiosity. What does the above phrase mean?

Bravo! It worked. And with a GC name as hard to remember as yours, others who want to befriend you will be most grateful.

p.s.: Thanks for the froggy gifts snoozing in my MB to Snappy for the Emblema, jklau for the Emblema, Martin for the Pulvillus, & dlstar for the 2 Mazeus (hope these two can find their way out!)

    Bit obvious maybe: "Frogaholics Anonymous"?

    "The Lily iPad"?

    "Round the Pond"?

Lisi, I just meant I chose someone kind of randomly to ship my set breed frogs to - thinking maybe they might get passed further in a chain, Froggy Whispers? Dom is always so quick with the starters that I feel if I just do my random thing, it's a little simpler.

As it happens, there's a request right there, I'll sort you out with the Nebs, Yasha, in a day or so! Good to have a sure home for mine :).

I now know of two frogs with legs that change colors when they jump. Can anyone guess them both?

Thanks for the Spinae and the Mazeus Dlstar

And for the Pulvillus and Emblema, KJ

Today my advisor pronounced me pretty much done writing. I've got about 8 worth of little tasks over the next few days, but the research and heavy writing part of my thesis is done. Whew!

Oh, I promise to take good care of them and pass them on to a loving home. :D
I will, of course, do what I can to gift back. :)

Edit: THANK YOU! For the Pulvilli! A breed I actually didn't have. :)

Woohoo always a nice achievement - I wasn't a pulvi fan at first, but they are growing on me. And 100 odd are growing in my habs at that :). This morning's dex effort saw me hit exactly 25,000/36,800 in the dex. Means 5,496 new frogs since v2 - not bad!

Re thread title: "Is that a frog in your pocket...?"

    CONTEST so far:

Ella: The Daily Ribbit, The Croak

    Martin: "Frogaholics Anonymous"?

    Martin: The Lily iPad

    Martin: "Round the Pond"

    Mal: PONDerings

    Mal: anuran digest

    Mal: PFix (froggie info exchange)

Martin: "Is that a frog in your pocket...?" Danger, Will Robinson, err Martin. This is a FAMILY forum...ahem...

Fantastic suggestions all & I'm not even the one to judge!

Wikipedia suggests one of them might be: the "Grey Tree Frog." Stopped dead in my tracks with this one because: "The female does not croak." Whatta deal! I'm in! The other is most obviously one of the PF Chroma frogs. Do I win? Do I? Well, do I???!

Well, I can't breed the nebulas yet, so if someone is willing to send me a set of 6 when they are done with them, I can keep passing them on! Just got to level 28 last week...slowly but surely!

And thank you to MartiNZ for the Pulli and I think it was Dom who sent a Tabula, and anyone else I've missed!
