Yeah, that's a big problem. That's one other way Apple keeps its monopoly... Why not pick the best phone & just play on PF on your iPhone in a WiFi zone? Would that be too limiting? Maybe, as BW27 said & dlstar intimated, some people are just not cut out to be gamers. Even I represent a weird variation on that term being a casual gamer who doesn't much care about the number of frogs I've collected. I was never into butterfly or coin collecting either. Well...OK... I do kinda like the PF coins. I apologize in advance if this seems untoward, Nirtew, but I'm frankly baffled. Android OS incompatibility That is a huge downer : ( but can android peeps trade with other android peeps? By the way, everyone, I'm ashamed of how sporadic I am with my gift thank you's. Yes, Android players can trade with other Android players. There just is no cross-platform (iOS/Android) trading. If you can't find the people you need here to trade with, I suggest the FaceBook Pocket Frogs Forum. Not nearly as nice as here, IMO, but way more people, thus more chance of finding an Android PFer. Kind of like the difference between a city like NYC vs. a small village tucked away in rural North Dakota where everyone knows your name. That said, I've never used the FB PF Forum, just read it from time to time. Just finished the Pot o' Gold Set & sent half to XXX & the other half to danj. Thanks lisi for those little beauties .... I have been behind with breeding this set ...waiting for frogs to mature and hoarding frogs I don't want to part with.. And My mailbox is back logged ... Waiting again to clear it so I can tame more frogs for gifting ... I don't visit the pond unless I have at least one space available to be able to accept gifts.... Hi, I'm new to this forum as well. Could anyone send me a lvl 26 frog? Of any type? I'm just grinding up the levels now, so it doesn't matter what type. All the previous levels since the big update, I was able to buy the new frog or find it in a big red box in the pond. But for some reason, no such luck at lvl 26. And now I'm almost to lvl 27. Cautionary Tale Since dean provided a great list of Level 31 & 32 racing frogs a while back, I've been doing a modicum of racing. Yesterday, I ran a race & won a couple of frogs. Immediately afterwards, I went to check on how my relative was doing via the Neighborhood; it was not there. Since sometimes it takes a while even with a small number of friends, I waited about a minute. No go. So then, when that didn't work, I proceeded to reboot my iPhone, in my haste, forgetting to exit PF as I had advised Nirtew to do when he had a similar problem. After I rebooted & still didn't see the Neighborhood, I realized my mistake, exited the game, & rebooted again. This time, my trick for getting back the Neighborhood simply didn't work so I decided to just wait a while, given my extensive experience with the vagaries of Plus+. Next I checked my MB to see when my next frog was due to arrive &, to my dismay, BOTH frogs I had won were gone! Closed the MB, exited app, rebooted (to give the game time to maybe reconsider its decision to obliterate two frogs & be merciful) but the frogs were simply not there. Given the time between winning the frogs, all I did afterwards (as meticulously detailed above) & this discovery was only about 5 minutes - but a blip, even in frog-time. Possible causes: 1) Rebooting soon after winning without exiting. Maybe, somehow, the frogs I won hadn't had time to properly register with the game although I HAD verified they were in the MB right after winning when I set their alarms. 2) An intermittent Neighborhood problem: Given that the Neighborhood didn't return even after the 2nd reboot even though this had always worked before, it's possible the Neighborhood aspect of the game, what caused it to disappear & not reappear, was the ultimate culprit. Since I can't know for sure, I have two things I won't do from now on: exit PF soon after winning & reboot soon after winning. Thought I'd share. Forewarned & all that. p.s.: Many thanks for the froggy gifts to short (long time, short ) for the Symphonia , jklau for the Foramen, & dlstar for the Gyrus (I'll take it out for a spin when it arrives). p.p.s.: Welcome back to the forum, jklau! p.p.p.s.: Thanks to Snappy who listed the most valuable frogs for my relative's level. That information gave her a big boost.
