Thank you JavaRich for the Fortuna and RQuilt for the Emblema. Lisianne - you could just use a tool like Boardreader to search on keywords on the touch arcade domain. Boardreader pulls up a synopsis of all posts and who posted them based on keyword and sorted by date. No need to read all the posts. That, and an individual survey in Qualtrics and we'd know way too much about the Internet use of PF players and the relationship between forum use and score. And, I sent tbusch a friends request on Game Center. I just happen to have a Serpentis from breeding for a past weekly set.
Color Wheel Hi malbarnes, thanks for participating and for the frogs! I'm using one of the Blue Planeta as my GC photo . A color wheel is sort of like a color palette of all the different base colors (Maroon thru Glass) and secondary colors (Tingo thru Chroma) used for dexing. It contains 23 frogs of a single breed with each frog having one of the different base colors starting at Maroon and ending up at Glass. Out of the 23 frogs, 16 of them have one of the secondary colors starting at Tingo and ending up with Chroma. Basically you breed one of the color wheel frogs with another until you have completely dexed that breed of frog. In dexing, a color wheel has the advantage of not needing to order up breeding frogs from the mailbox or catalog because you have all the needed colors in your habitats..but they take up 3 habitats worth of space. Some players like using a color wheel some don't, it depends on what you want and how you want to get it done while dexing. A color wheel can also be of mixed breeds which I don't have any experience with, I've only used it with one breed at a time. I've been searching for a photo of a color wheel I've used in the past and can't find it! If anyone has a photo of a color wheel please post it or I'll post a photo of Raelyn's when its completed.
I've moved to a modified colour wheel of just 16 to colour the secondaries and only take up two habs. Then the first 7 primaries that you finish off get cycled to one of the remaining ones of the same secondary. I find it works quite well, but I still have major issues with coin management in dexing, especially at the higher levels.
Thanks MartiNZ . I let everything mature, so I have the coins but it is taking a long time to get through the FroggyDex!
Hello Adp90091, I laughed when I read your GC status this morning. I do the same thing! I'm working on completing my undergrad degree and using a self-reward system helps. Get the studying done then reward yourself with Pocket Frogs! I wish you much success with your thesis.
Thanks to Nirtew for an Emblema, JavaRich for a Lotus, Quossum for a Symphonia, Andi for a Vicis, Hunter for scenery, Malbarnes for a Botulus, and anyone else who sent gifts recently. Good night to all.
Can You Guess My Missing Frog Breed Ok now that I've reached level 32 I have all the frog breeds (thanks to many generous pf forum buddies) except one can you guess which frog it is. The first person to guess the frog I'll send you 16 frogs of your choice The first person to send me my missing frog will also recieve 16 frogs of choice Hint - It is one of the version 2 frogs Ella Ps I love javas comps a lot so I hope noone is offended by me offering this one as a one off.
Aw, thanks. It was my own careless mistake, but I appreciate that. And to nirtew, thanks for the Axis!
Thanks for the description. I have been racing for EMBLEMAs lately and tried to make sure I had one of each primary color in my habs - had 4 habs full (not counting the blues slowly coming your way). Once I deleted duplicate primaries, it turns out I might already have a color wheel - or close to it! I was using them to breed with ANURAs used for request frogs. This is a slow way to fill a breed. So I'm going to put your strategy to use. Unfortunately, EMBLEMAs are very slow to mature, not to mention expensive. Thanks again. For the Blues, I have been using 2 habs full of ANURAs - which I'll keep. So I'll end up with 5 habitats of breeders! Need more habitats! Take care. Mal p.s. PLANETA is ideal for the world traveler!
I'm all for finding ways to motivate and reward myself out of a state of procrastination - especially things that are both low calorie and cheap ; ) Kudos on finishing your undergraduate degree and working at the same time. That is not an easy path to take, it seems like there is never enough time to do everything.
It's not levar or botulus Thanks JavaRich and MartiNz Everyone who guesses can have one turn a day if they like there are only 45 more frogs to guess from Ella
