Memory Lane Just thinking, for no particular reason, of how PF has changed/evolved over time. Very long-time forum members will recall these changes, presented here in no particular order: 1) Limit of 8 habitats (including nursery) 2) No Babyproofing or Express MB 3) Promotional frogs (i.e. Glacio & Lanterna) which have morphed into "potion frogs" 4) The very concept of "potion frogs" 5) The two most recent frog-adding updates; the first added new frogs to existing levels (i.e. Vinaceus & Bulbus) while the 2nd added 47 new frogs, levels 17-32. 6) Plus+ instead of GC as a network 7) Racing 8) Sets 9) All Award frogs had to be in the same habitat (don't recall if this was for early Set frogs or not) 10) Using potions for taming 11) All or nothing use of potions for maturing eggs/frogs in habs (still exists for stamps in MB) 12) Ability to purchase frogs from Froggydex not just catalog 13) ?? Surely this isn't all but it's all I can recall at the moment. Feel free to add or correct if my memory of the game evolution doesn't jibe with reality. So a shout out, this time, not to newer members but to all those long-timers who got so far in spite of some of the huge restrictions (most notably #'s 1, 2, & 12): dean, Dom, Andi, et al. p.s.: So many generous gifters out there in PF Land. Memory Lane - WOW I must have 'discovered' PF very late in the game! All those features were available from the beginning for me - except the latest V2 stuff. Those things are essential and I doubt playing would be nearly as addictive without the 'extras'. So kudos to the early adopters. Knowing the early limitations makes your accomplishments even more outstanding. And the patience... Thanks lisianne for adding some perspective for us newbies. Take care. Mal
