I bred a Volta for you. Just give it a day or so to mature.

I am done with Orbis and Persona, so I don't have them in my habitats.

I searched for that yesterday with no luck. I'll try copy/paste then.

Same thing for me with coolest frogs & full MB. As a newbie in the analysis of monetizing apps, I'd wonder if that wasn't intentional. As a dev, you'd want players to use stamps to make space in their MB. The more stamps they use, the more likely they are to be potential stamp buyers. If they feel they're losing the best frogs, they'll always leave a space even if it meant using stamps.

The worst monetizing move I've ever seen was with an app I paid full price for in order to gain certain features I really wanted. What did the dev do? About 6 months after my purchase, s/he eventually added a sizable banner of ads at the bottom which, while taking up 1/5 of the screen, was distracting to boot. And they charged the full price for the app sans ads! This was no $.99, throw away app, BTW. I felt betrayed & wondered what their next monetizing move would be. Since the company had already lost my trust, I simply deleted the app & paid the SAME price for a replacement app.

NB has basically handled the intrusion of ads pretty well. Yes, they are larger & more plentiful (I used to get one once a day now it's if I haven't opened the game for a few or more hours, when I do reopen it) but they don't eat into game real estate. And, IMO, based on my experience (tamed over 15 Quilta & got but 3 potions!) they appeared to have *discretely* tweaked their potions/stamps in the pond algorithm with the latest update while everyone was too distracted with the mind-boggling flood of new frogs to notice.

Still & all, NB has not broken its freemium pact with the end user & stamps/potions, though harder to find, still can be found. PF is still a game I recommend to friends & that says it all.

And you're a great case in point, Mal. You felt compelled to buy stamps. I've already been there (minus any purchase) & have learned to be stingy with my stamp/potion use & limited my list of friends. Have altered my gifting strategy, as well, but mainly to fit my free time. Taming these high value frogs can be tedious (cf. dlstar), boring (cf. Yasha65) & takes more time than ever before.

p.s.: Froggy thanks to XXX for the Coclearis, & Maholah for the Symphonia.

I'm really sorry. You WILL get the parrots, but if you want them NOW it won't be from me. I am really, really embarrassed, 'cause my iPhone is still in Stockholm, while I am in Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria. :(

PF won't load my account on my iPad. Hope you forgive me.

Thank you for the frogs, Lermshell and RQuilt!

The Signum and Orbis were much appreciated.

I'm still on the lookout for a Persona, which means the minute one of you send me one I'll find it in the pond : )

    Potion frogs

Adp, you won't find any Persona in the pond, nor win them in races as they are one of the potion frogs. Even though the newer version 2 breeds can be found in the pond and bought with potions in frogmart, the original potion frogs still won't appear in the pond. If you haven't received a Persona yet, accept my friend request and I can send you one. :)

On a different topic, even though you can't directly send/receive stamps or potions as gifts, you can send/receive request frogs that can convert into either one upon delivery.

Thanks to Dean for a Tabula,
    JavaRich for a Lotus,
    Lisi for a Fortuno,
    Malbarnes for a Flecto,
    Miamare for the Vinaceus frogs,

and anyone else who sent gifts recently.

    Good night to all.

Good point, Snappy! I'd only add that passing on a set gives the receiver *both* stamps & potions. This is something to think about if you are the recipient of someone's generosity.

My two Parrot Starter Sets will be available for gifting tomorrow morning. I'll keep the Set throughout the day if no takers & won't pass on to non-poster, non-forum friends until Monday morning. Lots of time to speak up. Only requirement: requester must already have participated in this forum.

p.s.: Merci beaucoup for the froggies to dlstar for the Marinus, StephenP67 for the Hennae, & Snappy for the Emblema.

    Thank You!

    Hi Everyone,

Thank You to Snappy, malbarnes, sneeb, Nirtew, dean288367, Domenic15, Laurafitz, danjarus, Maholah, Quossum, Lisianne, Awboj, XXXBR, shortbus123, AndiNZ, dlstar, MartiNz, ohdhalia, Ella, greenbezoar, haf8275, heeranc80 and julesfish for the many gifts!! :D

Lisianne the answer to your question about my photo icon is yes, it was the Eiffel Tower. It's even more spectacular lit up at night! Long ago, I would do a set of frogs using the flag colors of a country I was visiting to show my location to other players. Now I can take a photo for Game Center. Your inquiry has given me an idea for a contest!

I'd like to do a contest called "Where in the World?"! I'll make a set of frogs using a country's flag color and post a photo of that set on the forum, the first player to post the correct location by city and country wins 16 frogs of their choosing!

A link to the first "Where in the World?" frog set photo is below, and is my current location. I'm looking for the correct location by naming city and country for 16 frogs of your choice! Good Luck. :)

    P.S., Thanks dean288367 for the title. :)
