Are the eggs showing in your habs just failures or do you keep your successes as well? Do you try to make coinage out of your breeding or do you try to break even or so?
I try to keep my failures to half their value and then sell them, using the successes as gifts. But the way I breed, my habs quickly get full, and that slows down my breeding.

The eggs right now are both failures and successes. I did my breeding alittle different this time and will probably sell some off tomorrow when they are still "babies" so I can do some breeding tomorrow.

Normally I breed half my habitats a day (5 or 6) and I normally only keep the successes and sell the failures right away. With this routine I have 5 to 6 habitats to gift out a day but normally only get about 3 tamed (which is normally enough to cover the gifts I received the day before plus a few random) and I sell the others.

Mine coin level is slowly going down but not as fast as I thought it would. I think it has helped that I have been going back and forth on high value frogs to lower value frogs. Plus I race a few times a day and when the frogs come out of the MB I sell them along with friends gifts that come out of the MB.

FYI: What a success/failure is to me. My breeding pool is made up of 23 of the same breed of frogs. If I am breeding for Maroon and breed a Maroon Aurum with a Tangelo Muscus and get a Tangelo Aurum instead of a Maroon Muscus, I consider the Tangelo Aurum a failure even though it may be a new frog and it is sold right a way.

Normally if you look in my habitats you will see a separate primary or secondary color in each one. Anyway, a long answer to a short question:)

I have the same definition of a success... If its not what I want, I'm not satisfied.

I usually grow my babies and "teenagers" until thy can make me a few thousands (with Templums this is 6,000-8,000) and sell them untamed (taming is too much work for too little XP.) I went on a major selling spree today and sold half of my low-levels (1-4 or so) that I've been hoarding since I first hot a Plus+ account. I should be clearing out some more soon and changing my breeding strategy a bit. :)

Thank you, Domenic, for the group of froggies that from the discussion here, I take to be starters for the weekly set. As I am still waiting for last week's set to finish maturing, they are truly appreciated. I've sent a wee something your way in return.

Thank you to my other trading friends as well, the gifts just keep coming. As do the GC friend requests, actually. That's something I think I preferred in Plus, people could follow you if they wanted without you having to do anything. So, I'm only dealing with a couple of requests per day, and right now there's enough of a backlog that if you've sent a request, don't be surprised if I don't get to it for a week or so.

Oh, and in off-topic news, my Happy Street friends list has fallen off. No doubt it will return soon. And thanks NB for the Xmas gifts, as of now I've ended up with a decent pile of coins, potions, bux and 6 (!!!) new planes across PF, TT and PP. :)

    Good Morning Everyone.

We got our first snow of the season late yesterday. Woke up this morning to about an inch of the white stuff. Just enough to make things pretty but not enough to mess up travel. Looking out my back window as the sun comes up and it would make a perfect postcard. The ground is covered, a little dusting on the trees and some flurries. Now I'm in the holiday spirit :)

Off to breed some frogs. May your day be filled with new frogs in the pond.

I had that same picture Christmas morning. Now they say we have another 4 to 8 more inches on the way today. It is a beautiful site.

@AndiNZ- Can you see through to my Froggydex? I'm still getting your Templums, and 80-90% of them are NEW! Thank you! :D

My Happy Street went a little wierd last night with the friend's list, but I only get on once a day anymore anyway so I really didn't care. I'm trying to figure out Pocket Planes (which never fails to confuse me every day) and DragonVale (which one of the limiteds shall I breed?) and HS is at the back of my mind game-wise.

! RedSky58 just earned 40 stamps (!!!) from NimbleBit! This calls for a major gifting spree from which no one will be spared!

I agree that taming is alot of work for little XP but for me it is the pond presents not the XP I am after. One reason my coins are staying higher than expected is that we get coins for unwanted pond presents now :)

I also have been getting alot of GC friend requests and normally I accept all about every other day and then if no activity will unfriend in a couple of weeks or whenever I get around to it.

Major flaw was found today. I got a gift from a low level friend and went to send them something and could not find them  I then remembered that we can only have 99 friends that show up as PF neighbors and since it is in order of level, they got knocked off. From now on I will not add someone new until I take someone off.

As someone who used to spend a lot of time in the pond (I have no idea how I have over 33,000 pond presents), I have to agree. But I usually like to have a casual hop with one of my already-tamed adult frogs so I don't have to worry about that red potion button (which they *claimed* to make smaller, but I don't see that they did).

Only 99 friends? I deleted some Happy Street neighbors yesterday, and a PF neighbor who hasn't played for a month, but seriously?! I had well over 100 Plus+ friends, and I'm approaching 80 GC friends already...

Speaking of Plus+, I've heard rumors that it's going away. I wouldn't have paid attention, but last week it suddenly stopped functioning on my iPhone (YellowSun84, still running PF 1).

Like you, I definitely preferred the Plus+ system. It was easier to befriend someone if I had the leisure to do so. Plus, I wasn't startled half to death with the strident announcement of someone wanting to be my friend.

Yes, NB has been inordinately generous. Kind of like another "Friend." :)

99+ friends? Oy! And that's why you're at level 64 & I'm happily plugging along at 33. I check all new Friend Requests but if they're not participating in the forum, I usually don't respond -- that's how I handle them.

p.s.: Lots of froggy thanks for the amphibian gifts I received today: Martin for the Pluma, meplie for the Janus (was hoping for a cat), Andi for the Mustacium, & RedSky/BW27 for the Quilta.

p.p.s.: Sorry no one answered your question in the PP Forum, BW27. It's a forum with a different feel where many regulars are tightly focused on strategy & competition. The nature of the PP appeals to those who prize those qualities in a game. It's an amazingly clever game which simply attracts a different demographic.

I didn't worry about it; I'm a less-than-focused on PP right now. I did mean to re-post it yesterday, but I got distracted with something else. I probably won't be posting there much, if at all; I like the casual, laid-back forum style that this thread and the DV thread have. I can (try to) figure out PP by myself (if I keep playing.):D

I've been getting a lot of challenges on GC. And if *anyone* who's sent me a challenge on either account for any game is reading this, please take note that I don't do challenges. No, not for Happy Street either. I still play, but I don't take well to getting four or five challenges a day for one single game.

I wish I could see into friends' froggydexes, it would make gifting less random. Glad you are enjoying the Templums. I am sending you beige, breeding royal, and I have emerald and half the Azures to do (dean already sent the other half :)). Hoping to finish my triple today, actually, if I can make room.

@ Dean, I didn't know that about only displaying 99 friends from GC, thanks, I'll keep it in mind, as I'm getting close to that. There are some folks that can be culled from the list soon, for sure.

    Two Starter Sets

Tomorrow evening at about this time (if I don't get impatient & use potions), I will have two of the Bubby & Fireworks Set ready to ship out.

First come, first served to anyone I've already friended on GC. Responses can be PM or in the forum.

No responses? I'll gift randomly, avoiding those who already received/thanked Dom for a Starter Set to avoid duplication.

p.s.: Thanks to Snappy for the Shelbus & dlstar for the Gemma.
