Thanks for the tip--I hadn't noticed that! Did anyone else get a gift from PF today? They sent me 10 stamps, in notification pop-up on the game. A nice surprise! Also, in catching up with the forums, I notice several people talking about how the devs "dumped" all these new species into the pond/game. However, they only did that if you were at a higher level. Anyone playing up from the lower levels would have continued to find a few new frogs per level. While I definitely agree that it would have been nicer to see a slower roll-out, I'm wondering if this wasn't simply an idea that wasn't well thought out on their part. (And I would still pay for an add-on pack with a new set of challenges/awards!) Having finished the Fortuno and Emblema, I'm doing some random racing now, not focused on a particular species or level. Go, frogs! Yep pretty tricky to have those goals coincide, especially with mission taming times now! Indeed this place does seem to attract a lot of ladies. Not that there's anything wrong with that . And yes, names vs usernames does give room for confusion - for PF I've actually taken to assuming female until proven otherwise lol.
Hey, I am underleveled for most of the frogs and I was one of the first to complain about them "dumping" the frogs on us. It doesn't have as much to do with level as habitat space. Thanks for all of the presents. One thing, though: I'm missing a Yellow Templum breeder (I probably accidentally sold it! ). So could someone send me one? Secondary color doesn't matter as long as it's Yellow.

Same here; most of my GC friends are female but I try not to refer to anyone as "he" or "she" until I'm positive ('though "they" sounds sort of awkward lol) . I chose a gender-neutral username for both of my accounts to avoid confusion (like my friend from school, also female, whose nickname is "Hutman33"). I passed to level 21 this morning. Time goes by fast when you're breeding high-level frogs! Lol.
Two days ago, NB started randomly gifting stuff in PP (from bux to plane parts to planes) to people playing that game. Today, I noticed a random (much appreciated!) gift in TT. Have noticed nothing in PF from NB, maybe because we already have "daily presents" or maybe they just haven't caught up with all their users (like moi! ) yet. I think it's an excellent gesture of good will. It's NB's way of saying, "I'm still thinking about you & I appreciate that you're still playing the game!" Pssst!, Martin, after hours, when you blokes are fast asleep, this forum turns into an all female forum discussing sexy hairstyles, the latest in VS sleepware, & other womanly issues too shocking for your sensitive ears. All of those frilly-filled & ofttimes racy messages fade magically with the dawn & you guys are none the wiser. My issue was that NB, by the enormous number of new frogs, created the equivalent of a whole new game within PF without the accompanying space to PUT or RECEIVE the frogs. No new habs. No larger MB. All this without even correcting the tiny error one receives when completing the last of the Weekly Sets. I always assumed, wrongly it now appears, that true gamers were men & us women players just stumbled in here on a foggy night, by accident, like me. But you know what they say about the word "assume"... p.s.: Mucho thankso to Madmaze for the Pistrix. I totally missed the gift before Mad's because I was taming a frog &, hitting a gift, I thought I was rejecting some scenery I didn't want. Quite dismayed, I know neither the frog nor the generous gifter & I regret not being able to thank whoever it was personally (OK, virtually). p.p.s.: Enough. Enough! Enough!! Alas, didn't work. I simply cannot say Enough about how I dislike notification pop-ups in the pond. They are confusing, disturbing, & break the zen rhythm of the taming.

I've said many times I was afraid they were becoming like Zynga. Well, like I said before, 'tis the season! 2. I have the same problem with NB, but hopefully soon they'll turn over a new leaf and start getting back into their games. 3. May I ask what the small glitch with the weekly sets is? 4. Assumptions on the Internet can be fatal , especially when you're dealing with gender and such. I always assumed dean288367 was male 'til I saw her GC (oops!) but it was a pretty safe assumption (or so I thought). 5. I'll be the first to admit that I sort of did get the game by accident, it was the bet accident I ever made app-wise. And you'd be the first to know I didn't find this thread by accident! I should have guessed since I too have been on the receiving end of your dexing...thanks again and again! Most of my 2.0 frogs have come from you.
Just looked on the support site, and NB Tweeted that anyone logging into Tower, Planes, or Frogs for the next two weeks will get a daily gift (I'm guessing this is apart from the PF Daily Gifts and the Tiny Tower rent).
Dean is a nickname that I have been called my entire life and never really thought about gender when I setup my Plus+ account. If anyone is wondering, the 288367 means nothing. It was randomly assigned by Plus+ after everything else I tried was taken. My gift for PF today was 5 potion, this was in addition to the daily gift.
Hey there, glad you're still enjoying Pocket Frogs it means a lot to us! Unfortunately adding mor habitats would require changing the way the game saves data and would make save games incompatible with older versions which has caused tons of problems in the past. I wish I could give more attention to PF but I only have so many hours in the day and we have lots of games to support at this point, not to mention working on new stuff for our fans!

I was just thinking: Background info: When I found out that I could not play PF on my ipod 3rd gen I thought about buying an iPad mini. I had been looking at them anyway and thought why not. Current info: Someone posted that NB said that they had to upgrade PF to the 4.3 version because of Apple requirements. If all apps have to do this it makes my iPod obsolete and just a very expensive MP3 player only. (This is assuming I can still even use it as a MP3 player ?). Conclusion: Apple has left me with a "piece of junk" in only 2 1/2 years Will I be buying an Ipad mini.... NO !!! Thanks for letting me vent.. now back to PF on my iPhone.
I know what you mean; my dad bought an iPad 3 (RedSky58's hub) the day it came out, and already, after nine months, it's obsolete (technically speaking). I'm sure of one thing: he won't be buying an IPA4 anytime soon. I've been finding Skeletos like crazy today. I saw one while hopping with my half-grown Lunaris. I was disappointed since I couldn't breed with it (for my Lunaris had 5 1/2 hours left and my nursery was full) but since then I've found two in pond presents within an hour of total play time. Strange.
Yes, ladies, our special iris-scanning filtering DOES work! MartiNZ, you've just proven that the software we use to post is successful beyond our wildest dreams. Not only do the posts fade with the dawn but they display white on white when viewed by male eyes. When a player has finished ALL the Weekly Sets, an error message pops up saying "There was an error retrieving a new set." Should have been easy to change that message to say, "Congrats, you've completed all the available sets so far!" or something of the sort. Minor thing, I admit, but elicited many questions at the time. Thanks for your response, eeenmachine. As you may recall, I spent a goodly amount of time on the NB Support Forum during its year-long existence. As you supported TT, your latest app at the time, then PP, I periodically posted requesting an update for PF. Eventually I was told that it was too difficult because the data would be incompatible. As it turned out, NB DID update PF. True, you didn't leave as many users in the lurch as you did with the incompatibility between versions 1.1 & 1.2, this time users without the ability to upgrade their iOS to 4.3, were similarly locked out (black mark for Apple in my book). Needing to buy a new iDevice to accommodate a game seems a tad extreme. I believed that "data incompatible" explanation the first time but you DID work around it. I have absolute faith in your ability to do so again. Where there's a will, there's a way. Now I know if Santa's keeping a list in NB-land, I'm definitely on his "naughty" list for I haven't received any "gifts" for PF even tho' I've been logged in to GC each day (gifts from TT & PP prove this). I'm not complaining, I assure you, for I have all I need in terms of coins, potions, stamps, etc. But if I am not receiving gifts in this game, there must be others like me. It would be a mistake to assume that everyone complaining of this simply isn't logged in. This is meant as a "Head's Up," nothing more. Santa may have dropped his reading glasses. Vent way. I can only sympathize. p.s.: Thanks for the froggy gifts I received today, one still not in MB: MartiNZ for the Pluma & meplie for the Pluma. With all this Plumas I may just begin making an elegant boa to wear with my winter coat!
