This is probably not everyone's cup of tea but I got most of my Anura dex completed by racing them ... I had 3 or 4 with highest level of stamina and speed ratings .. They would win most of the time with the occasional potion to boost .... To claim the prize frogs for winning .. The frogs not in the dex already ...show up with a ? ... If you tap two with a ?? at the same time they both end up in your mailbox ... It's cheap racing the low level frogs ... I am up to 45% on my velatus and crustalli dex using the same method ... It's not a chore... It's a bit of a thrill each time you win ...and you earn coins for getting two frogs per win ... I just race them in between breeding and completing sets ... BR
You're right. As your low level frog's value approaches that of your high level frog, you get less and less profit using the scheme I outlined. In any profit making scheme the key is keeping frogs to maturity, and that can get tough when you hit a losing streak; you can get inundated with a ton of maturing frogs. It's happened to me and I just bite the bullet and sell them.
Oh? I had a couple gift errors too. People gave me a treasure gift and instead of getting that object for my habs it showed up in the mail as that missing shadow frog? Those only use stamps, it says I can't move them in,... For some reason. Lame .. I guess I'll just let everything age till it's free for a while.
Not sure what you mean by "treasure gift" but if someone sends you something that they have made themselves and it is not part of the real game you cannot place it in a habitat. All you can do is remove it from your mailbox or just leave it in the mailbox. The game has always been this way as far as I know.
Did you get the ones I sent you this morning ? I just got a frog out of the mailbox and then tamed 6 frogs. Went into my friends list and it was taking so long to bring it up that I exited and the game crashed. Since GC only updates every 4 hours (?) I no longer show the frogs being tamed But here is the werid part: The frog I got out of the mailbox is in the habitat and in the mailbox ! plus it appears that all the pond presents I got while taming are still there I have not updated and if I wait long enough my friends list does come up and I can still gift. I guess it just does not like you to exit the friend's list before it comes up. Something else: I just went in to check on another update and now on my update screen it says "P2.Software Updates" and with every update game it has "K2HSoftwareUpdates"
Yikes! I didn't realise GC only updated every 4 hours. When I've had PF crash recently it has only lost about a minute, like the last tame/sell action, oh and I've lost one or two gifted frogs into the abyss by accepting and then it crashing. Sounds like you've had more serious trouble ; hope those updates come right! Yes I did get your Emblemae, thanks! At least I -can- receive from anyone not updated lol. My MB is looking a bit sparse though . Re the sets being posted, nice work! We of the Frog Share have in the past done set challenges, with associated rewards. Perhaps these could be expanded into such events? First to complete or w/e? Lots more people involved here too! Hmmm that reminds me, I won a competition a few pages back....
Well at least you can receive gifts The thread did a test when we switched to GC because of conflicting info on when it updated. We played find the Lanterna in my habitats The first time it was spotted in about 2 hours but then I sold it and it took over 4 hours to be be gone. Kind of scary since I can do alot of breeding/taming in 4 hours. Still not sure what starts the 4 hour cycle though. Just remember that if you are going to change devices to wait about 4 hrs after any actions.
No, the regular stuff in the game that you put into habs to make the frogs happy. When you find it in the pond gift it says. "you have found a silver watch..Accept or Decline." I da know what do you call that stuff?
