Hey folks - I've been absent for a while, but with the new update have been reading more of the forum over the past few days. I'm VERY not thrilled with the 'tame with potions' button in the pond for all of the same reasons everyone else has mentioned already. It's great that it has a 'cancel' option, but it breaks up the rhythm significantly, especially if you're trying to hop around a level 32 frog... I've tried hopping south, but because I still have an iPhone 4S, my screen is smaller and I keep getting partial pads that require tapping around the edges, and even going south I still have moments where in order to try and get a big fly or to find a pad I can actually tap on, I end up hitting the button. Frustrating. I love the flying frog - have never had that happen to me, but man does that look funny! I have, however, had a bizarre glitch twice now with frogs gifted to me while my phone has been locked and I haven't been in PF -- I unlock my phone, open PF, and the gift frog notification pops up twice in quick succession. I tap 'accept' on the one that lingers (the first is just a blink of the screen), and end up with two of the same frog in my mailbox. It obviously isn't a BAD thing, but it's kind of strange. Has anyone else encountered this?

I don't have all of them yet - it seems to allow me to accept those that are over my level (my OH sent me a Fortuno, which is level 32, and it let me take it), but nothing over level 28 has appeared in the pond for me yet. I'm working my way through them slowly, and once I DO get them all, I'm going to keep one of each (in order, since I'm anal that way...) in my habs, where I used to keep my level 9 through level 16s... Right now I'm working on putting the ones up through level 16 into my catalog, but they need to grow up (I'm also working on building up/hoarding potions, so I haven't spent one on purpose in weeks).
Can I have another Igneous? I accidentally sold mine while I was pressing the No Thanks button for an ad. Game Center is so unpredictable. TIA

Still working on Aceris and sending them out as they mature and are tamed. If anyone needs an Aceris or Americano as a request frog please let me know.
I didn't receive the unwanted "found in pond" frog but I did receive the next frog in the cloud queue. I assume. Have to assume these days because there's so much unknown about the glitchy gift system. Most unfortunately old habits die hard here. I must be a closet-Luddite who is inherently allergic to change. If NB absolutely had to put a "tame for potions" notifications somewhere, they could have put it on the side at least where it would be less triggered. Reversed it with the xxx/xxxx numbers & increased that to more than 1-point font! Tried & was pleased until I realized that Cygnet was correct & it just flips the annoying query to super-annoying unreadable, now-you-need-to-turn-your-iphone annoyance. Haven't been tempted enough to notice that, Dom, but I did mention in an earlier post that I get far fewer potion or stamp presents. OTOH, there are plenty of new reasons to need said potions & stamps. Ironically, prior to the closure of the NB Forum & after many updates to TT & PP & zilch for PF, I posted a long message called something like, "NB Why Hast Thou Forsaken PFers?" That message was valid then. Today, if I were to write that message, I'd have to replace the verb "forsake" in the message title. Many people have this problem, myself included. p.s. Many, many thanks to those among you, in face of overwhelming evidence that my interest in the game is fading, continue to gift me. I'm still awaiting a response from NimbleBit about my crashing problem on my iPod. I promise that the minute it's fixed I will send out return gifts. I remember that.I know that were the support forum still around today, I would have posted several long rants by now. as it is now, it's a ghost town. I haven't logged in since September and my Pingo is getting lonely.
Quossum: I think I've experienced gift queue loss as well, based on some of the same evidence others have mentioned. Do you remember if you had done the most recent upgrade when that happened?
I'm asking these questions because I want to know if PF fixed this "no frog, two frogs" bug in the latest upgrade. So far I'm not upgrading. The only positive for me is fixing the visiting neighbor bug. And I haven't figured out how I will hop with the potion button.
