Ok, all day I have been trying to perfect my southern hopping. Getting better at it but I think I will try some western hopping next. I figured with all the flies it takes to tame the new frogs and if I continue with a south/west hop I should be at Andi's for dinner by Wednesday :D

It would have continued all day I expect, that's how I managed to take photos!

I can't actually remember if I pressed the Home button, or just hit the red x to leave the pond. I think it was the latter.

How it happened...was going south and got a real run on, about 4 - 6 pads in a straight line and I thought 'wow I'm really going fast' and then I paused and the frog kept going!

Lisianne I'm sending you the flying frog (Pink Carota Hennae). Hope this cheers you up.

Here's a nice zany solution to avoiding the the potion button for you north hoppers. turn your device upside down - now it's nice and dark - and hop "north". I tried it and I don't think I hop any faster than normal south hopping. But, hey, it's different. I'll try anything to keep hopping north.:D

I actually tried that. It worked for a bit. I even forgot I was upside down. Then I landed on a present and this message pops up in greek. Took me a second to realize what happened.

I like to use potions to tame the frogs.
Can you tell me about a very good level 32 frog for racing?
In return I can give any 10 frogs you want if I win with the frog I receive 2 consecutive times in racing WITHOUT potion boosts.

I think I've experienced gift queue loss as well, based on some of the same evidence others have mentioned. Because of that I'm trying to get gifts to my entire friends list now and then, but I apologize if it seems that I've ignored a gift.

Of all the bugs for NB to fix...I was really hoping the "NEW" for gifts would be back. I'm nonplussed about potions for taming. It's rather expensive and I do keep on hitting it as I often hop north. But, I have used it now and then: when I get near a brand new frog (I still have some to get!) and still have 40 or so flies to get, I hate hopping around and around that new frog until my frog is tamed, do I've gone ahead and insta-tamed in those circumstances.

Lisi, sorry you lost that pretty musical frog, but it sounds like another is making its way to you. Don't lose your froggy Zen!

I don't know if this is actually true but since the new potion for taming update, I have noticed less presents in the pond and also the requests appear to take a little longer after for filling them. Has anyone else noticed this?

Ack! I just sold three frogs in a row that I was saving for a set! I need to pay more attention or get a better filing system... At least none of them will take more than 4 hours to remake.

I hate doing that. once, I had every frog ready to redeem the set, and I tapped "get new" instead. Ended up having to complete a few more sets just to get back to the one I had all the frogs for. :)

I like to hop in a south-south west pattern. It seems to be the quickest way for me to hop around the pads.

Also, thank you to all who gifted me frogs. I am may not reciprocate as often, but I do appreciate the gifts.

Did you ever get your Emblema? If not I have one spare now. As for racing frogs, check about 10 pages back, someone had a frog that hadn't lost a race, not sure what level. This website is also helpful.

Decided to go for level 32 before I go back to dexing. That means lots of random gifts. Yeah!!
Finishing up older sets Palm Trees and Heat Wave. Let me know if you can use them (or anything else I have handy).
Up next - ice cream sundaes and shamrocks.
    Happy frogging.

I had this happen to me couple days ago, didn't have the chance to record it. I googled and youtubed videos for it cause I wanted to replicate it.
It does miss a lot of the gifts and stuff, but if you have a lot of flies to eat, it will automatically go and eat flies on the way down and at least rest your finger for a bit. I was afraid how to stop it cause I didn't want to lose any info, but I just Xed out of it and left the pond and it was fine.
It definitely looked like it was flying
If you figure out how to get it to happen again, that would be awesome.
