I appreciate the new breeds especially since I have yet to see them in the pond. Guess I'll have to start taking snap snots like I read here in the forum to give credit where due. Can anybody spare a green picea vinaceus? I've read about the troubles everyone is having about popping out the higher level frog when breeding. Seems I've come across the same issue. I've got everything else from the trick or treat set, just having a devil of a time with the green one. Keep positing about what everyone's working on. Haven't been playing much because of the approaching holiday season and a career in retail. Still sending when I can
It is a little overwhelming thinking about finding 36,800 breeds after starting with 2 last Friday. I'm a little jealous of everyone who started at the beginning (not sure why I didn't; it's not like I didn't play DizzyPad before this game came out). At the same time, it feels like the possibilities are endless right now. That being said, can anyone send a: Tribus Glacio Marinus Also, how do you get the frogs that aren't in the pond. I looked it up on the Wikia, and I feel like it didn't answer my question. Thanks!

Frankly, when you have a game, we all win. It's a nice community gesture. You're right. It's confusing at first & then downright frustrating. With frogs taking so long (or so many stamps) to receive I do hope this can be fixed. Already said how much I dislike the wording of the gifting to someone & the sending is equally iffy (the "fat finger" thing someone else mentioned). Maybe these are GC issues & it'll be out of NB's fingers (err, I meant "hands"). I did say re Plus+ prior to this update: "The devil you know..." Some more random thoughts: 1) I remember when I virtually met you, java, many frog-hops ago, finding out you couldn't change your gamer name, abandoned your game & started anew just to get to pick your name! How ironic that now it would be so easy. 2a) I'm worrying about new weekly sets to come especially because, not seeking the elusive 100%, sets are what I really enjoy. Two problems I see, even for the higher level player. With whole habs full of the newer frogs (too expensive to buy from the catalog or 'dex for many) & fewers habs full of the pre-update frogs, there will be fewer options for breeding the correct combination & less space to do it in. Maybe it's just my "no rhyme or reason" way of keeping frogs but frankly I think it will affect everyone. Sharing weekly sets will be more critical than ever. 2b) I'm hoping that NB will go easy with the use of the newer frogs in sets. There are a number of ways to do this: smaller sets, more duplication of frogs, lower level frogs, no more than one new frog type per set initially or maybe ever. 3) This update, limited to new frogs, stands to be a HUGE money-maker for NB. Impatience can cause many a sane person to part with hundreds of hard-earned dollars for stamps & potions. There was once a complaint of a problem NB forum by someone who said s/he had spent over $500! I was aghast. 4) Given the long breed time, I so wish NB had listened to the suggestions about an Express Nursery! 5) I spend an inordinate amount of time thinking about this game rather than playing it. It's weird -- or I am. p.s.: Huge thanks to so many of you generous PFers out there. Thanks to MartinZ for the Nebula, spearcom for the Tabula, Cygnet for the Shelbus, Dimidius, Scutulata, Levar, & Planeta, Nirtew for the Shelbus, & Andi for the Scutulata. Because of your help, I'm 16 away from collecting at least one of the new frogs. p.p.s.: As I said before, frogs in my nursery are for gifting to others. Ask now if you need one for they must be gone by the time the new set is announced.
Boy you are spot on. 1) Now I've discovered that sometimes it's a dupe, sometimes it's not. Had a gift offered twice; accepted the first, sold the second, lost the gift. it was like the first offer is a fake, the second was real. 2) You get no confirm on sending gifts. Just "sending gift to X" and "gift has been sent". The first msg is useless. It should be a confirm "send gift to X?" that avoids the fat finger problem of scrolling down to wanted recipient, dwelling on another name and having the gift sent her/him. IIRC, Plus + had that confirm. 3)"I did say re Plus+ prior to this update: "The devil you know..." " Amen to that. But unfortunately the move was inevitable. Plus + is an unsupported app and could disappear at anytime. Still, I'm confused about receiving gifts and and worried about sending them.

Ways together frogs are: 1. Find in pond 2. Win as a prize in frog races 3. Buy from Store (whatever it's called) 4. Have them gifted to you But you can't breed frogs above your level. Hope this answers your question.
