I sent you a starter set. Please pass it forward.. I have more starter sets available for the asking.
Thank you SnappyMcFrog Been chipping away at my bigest frog Floresco 95% only 6 Beige, 5 Coco & 6 Black to go. Also thanks lacama0 and everybody for many random gifts Aqua to Glass.
Huge congratulations to Java (50% already???), and dlstar! Well done! I agree also with the suggestion that this game now takes ~2 years to complete as it currently stands; I'll reach that milestone by Halloween, and will be very close to the end by then. If only real life didn't keep getting in the way... I still think it's remarkable that this game has the frogs-legs that people (just like us!) are prepared to dedicate their free time to it, for two years or more.
Hi, first time poster but have been a lurker for awhile. Would like to start by offering the glass marble set and iced tea set to anyone Id=heeranc Thanks!
Still enjoying my "not trading life." I can find frogs in the pond that I need - at 33% of dex, I have a 2/3 chance of getting something I never had - yay! I had returned to the excitement of my early, non-trading times, with PF. Greatly admire those with the wherewithal & persistence to actually get to 100%. Changing my modus operandi just a bit. I will gift at random (it's NOT a trade! I don't want anything in return) when I feel like it. I am moved to do this by people like Howdy or Dom, java or Snappy, most recently, who sent things expecting/getting nothing in return. This doesn't make me a trader by anyone's definition of the word but it does allow me to gift, something I did enjoy doing, without trading which was something that clogged my Inbox. I'll continue to do Sets, they're fun plus breed high value frogs so I can level up. Guess, if I have any goal, it's to level up, regardless of my % of 'dex. I'm the odd one out & that suits me just fine. Sent out two Starter Sets (one from Dom), at random. Keep, sell, send on, turn into "cuisses de grenouilles" & have a super meal, whatever. Your frogs, your choice. My hope, mirroring Dom's closely, is to keep this thread going & growing.
Sent starter sets to Miamare and Quo. Thanks to Andi, Danjarus!, DentonMatthew, Frogparent0, Gracesqx!, JavaRich!, Lisianne, Maholah!, Miamare!, Quo!, Rbbt, Sneeb!, and anyone else who sent gifts recently. Good evening to everyone.
Which is/are your favorite fall frog(s)? I feel partial to the Inseros. Thanks to: Andi, Dean, Frogparent0, Gracesqx, Quossum!, Sneeb! and anyone else who sent gifts recently. Good evening to all.
My favorite is the Bulbus - it reminds me to plant bulbs in the fall so that I can have flowers in the spring
@ snappy: it's still Inseros for me too, though I haven't had need to have a group of them in my habs for a while, I've just picked up one or two in the pond to pass along. @ dean: great to 'see' you still around here from time to time! On a completely un-frog related note, something we were talking about aaaages ago on here that I was intrigued by - I recently got my hands, in extremely circuitous fashion, on a couple of bottles of ChocoWine, and you are right, it's good stuff! Like a dark chocolate Bailey's. Thanks for the tip, it's an experience I would have missed otherwise. Saving the 2nd bottle for a special occasion, cos I don't know when I'll get the chance to buy any more.
My *fall* frog, not my favorite, would be the Ornatus which looks most leafy. Second in the "leaf" category would be the Arbor because its vein-like decoration resembles the structure of a leaf. My *favorite* frog is probably also the Insero (understated elegance via simplicity) but nipping at its heels would be the Pingo (elaborate, delicately decorative elegance). Ugliest frog, IMO, is the Dextera. Stylistically, the eye is drawn to widest part of the frog. Most people, especially women, would probably not want to emphasize their widest part. Dunno, maybe men probably see other things like golf balls.
Dean, I like spring bulbs too. Muscari is one of my favorites! Perhaps in PF that could be represented as a Purple Viola Bulbus? Lisi, I also think the Dextera are a bit funny-looking, especially those frogs with secondary colors much brighter than the base color. Thanks to Andi, JavaRich!, Maholah, Miamare! and anyone else who sent gifts recently. Good evening to everyone.
On the subject of least favorite frogs, my least have always been the Stellata and Viduo, because the patterns are bland and boring. The fall frog is, agreed, the Ornatus. Now, the October frog is definitely the Lanterna. My favorite frog overall is the Pingo. Sorry I haven't been on Plus+ lately (wi-fi issues.) I will try to get on as soon as I can and send out some frogs.
