Just remember, you better not catch me. I have not been around much nor have I had the chance to gift back to all those who have been sending me gifts. Hey, thanks Dom! Finally made it to the big league, LOL! Picked up a bunch of random followers today already too, and I'm not too sure what to make of that. I don't think I'll be catching you any time soon, you've really streaked ahead. Maybe if you have, I dunno, a month-long, wi-fi free golfing holiday coming up, and I find a way of getting my froggies to take themselves off to the pond for taming, while I breed up the next batch, I might be in with a chance??? Still loving the prize froggies coming my way, thank you (AGAIN)! Thanks everyone else for the lovely gifts, too. Set frogs, scenery pieces, and a surprising number still of NEW frogs. Hey, all! I'm way behind on posting--which seems to be my usual mode around here. Sorry! Many thanks to my trading friends: Snappy (!), Quossum, DLStar, Domenic, Andi, Java, Danjarus, Jklau, and anyone I may have inadvertently missed. An update: I'm currently breeding Olive, Persona on up. They seem to be going fairly quickly--yea! And a question: I still have all my friends, but the messages/comments have all disappeared. Unless you've all deleted your statuses at the same time, I'm assuming it's a plus+ problem. Will they return if I simply wait it out, or is there something I should be doing about it?

I've had this problem more times than I can count, Maholah. The only remedy I have found is to delete PF & then re-download & log in again. In my experience, it solves the problem for a while but it always recurs sooner or later when I exit/force quit PF. Solution: it's one program I don't close. Kludgy solution, I admit, but so far it has worked for me. Happy 4th to all you PFers out there!!
I have seen the comments disappear a few times, but they have always come back for me, though the timing of their return was quite sporadic. Currently, they have been working OK for me. I'm currently waiting for habs full of froglets to mature; when I get back on this evening, I may try deleting and reinstalling ... however, I might trust to Snappy's method of waiting it out. I'm currently at 93% of the dex. While I know that everything should come back with a reinstall ... the thought of it still makes me nervous!
Bit of a clarification. Like Snappy, in the beginning the statuses came back. I just needed to wait a day or two, maybe three. Eventually, after waiting two weeks with no end in sight, I took my life (& my game) in my hands, stomach queasy, & did the uninstall. Truth be told, no matter how many times I've uninstalled I've felt somewhat fearful. Tips if you decide to do so: 1) Tap the Plus+ Network to make sure you are backed up 2) Don't uninstall if you're in the middle of completing a Request Frog (you'll lose it) 3) I avoid uninstalling if I'm close to completing a set. Once I had completed the set but when I reinstalled it had a red badge. Good news was when I tapped "Get new set" it gave that error message you get if you've already completed it & set was in my list of completed sets 4) Make sure the App Store is available for d/ling the PF app (I made this mistake once & waited hours...or so it seemed) 5) Sometimes logging into Plus+ to Restore can be tricky because Plus+ has its flaky moments. Once it took multiple tries before it accepted my password. I have never lost any set, scenery, stuff in MB doing a reinstall. Ever. Only the Request Frog. Plus you get a new "daily gift." Whatever you choose to do, good luck!

Thanks so much for the tips, Lisi! I'd not have thought about the set I have percolating, or the request frog. I suppose I'll wait until tomorrow, when everything should be mature and set to redeem. Also, thanks to Snappy, Quossum and Andi for the frogs. I appreciate all of them! (Snappy, did you guess I'd be moving to marines shortly? Much appreciated!)
