Here is my guess for the Super Bowl XLVI score:

    Patriots 24, Giants 17

Don't know much about football, so this is not an educated guess! :)

Yay! I'm all caught up with frogs sent. Erring on the side of "I'm not sure when that frog was sent," I tried to reciprocate appropriately. Tomorrow I'm back to my way of reciprocating for any gift(s) with 1 frog/day. (It's the only way I can play non-stressed out.) Send me more at your own peril! (<--don't send me more, please!)

That said, I have a lot of people to thank.

p.s.: Thanks to InBoots for the Yellow Gyrus, Snappy for the Lime Gyrus, Aqua Gyrus, & Emerald Gyrus (all those "Gyrus," my head's spinning!), danj for the Maroon Floresco, dlstar for the Maroon Serpentis, Nirtew for the Red Magus & Glass Magus, Andi for the Black Geminus, & Laura for the Glass Trivium & Glass Sagitta.

p.p.s.: Did I win, Dom, was it Domenic15-0?

Final score Giants 21 Pats 17
Winner with the exact score is TinaK683- great job! Please tell me which 16 frogs you would like me to gift to you.

Second place will go to Nirtew since you had the second closest score at Giants 24 Pats 17. No one was any closer. Which 8 frogs would you like?

I'm after any Sagitta from the Laser Beams set. Does anyone have any spares? Will trade a couple of Florescos for your troubles.

    Hello!

First off has anyone heard from WalterCZ? The last thing I read was that he was doing the Tango to the tune of Guinness and making a music video, now his status window says "Ow.Ow.Ouch". I hope he didn't break anything.

Congratulations to SnappyMcFrog for the FroggyDexter 4 Award!, Wysky0 for completing the Weekly Sets!, to TinaK683 and Nirtew for the SuperBowl Win! And to Caeleps for number 5000! :)

Made it home in time for the 2nd quarter of the SuperBowl and had some hope for the Patriots right up to the 4th quarter, then the now infamous Patriot incomplete pass happened! I'm no expert in Football but I thought it was a good game overall. And I thoroughly enjoyed Halftime with Madonna performing "Vogue"! Good game Domenic15 and Congratulations to the Giants!

For all  of the frogs I've received over the past two weeks: Thank You! to Domenic15, AndiNZ1970, Nirtew, SnappyMcFrog, Dean288367, Quossum, WalterCZ, LauraFitz4, InBoots, Maholah, Lisianne, HowdyDody, Danjarus, Dlstar, Jklau, Mirxtech, Shortbus123, DeanKeith, Nicksparkinson, MissKatPaw, Hollowman, Malbarnes, TinaK683, Zeady, Wysky0 and LaLa2453! :D

Thanks again to SnappyMcFrog and Dean288367 for the Glass Viduo, the rest came through the cloud last night!

You've all made entry into the "5000 Club" a huge success, Thank You! :)

PS to Zeady, Congratulations for 72 out of 73 Awards with 100% of the Anura!

    What's in a name? A capital offense?

Here's the deal, doubt I was the first but I've been shortening names for the longest time, even mine. Not the first time I post about a gift or something related to that person, but a while later. Why? To me it's more of a nickname, kind of like the "tu" familiar form of you in French rather than the "vous," or polite/formal singular. I also try to maintain the correct capitalization but that's harder for online may be different from in this forum (i.e laura & andi, among others).

OTOH, people like javaRich (cleverly incorporating his real name) began a whole new game just to get a great gamer name but I refer to him as just java. danjarus' name is a great play on words which is lost in translation to a shortened form. It's likely that LauraFitz4 is Laura's name & maybe she prefers to be known by it. jklau's name is basically too short to shorten, so I don't. Further, I have a feeling that numbered people (i.e. Domenic15 & shortbus123) care less about this since the actual letters are preserved...until I shorten their names, of course.

If I am inadvertently stepping on your virtual toes by truncating your name or not using caps, don't shoot me! Shoot me a PM & let me know that I should mend my ways.

FWIW, one person on this forum wrote me a while back about wanting to be referred to in a different manner so there is a basis for my asking. Albeit a bit late.

p.s.: Thanks so much to so many of you, still again, for your inordinate & sometimes totally unwarranted generosity. Thanks to danj for the Tangelo Arbor & Lime Signum, Nirtew for the Orange Magus, Golden Veru, & Black Magus (sounds like an evil, crustaceous skin disorder, no?), Elektra for the Lime & Marine Africanis, Green Sol, 3 Glass Geminus, & Aqua Signum (maybe the cure for the Black Magus?), Dom for the Red Tribus, & 2 Purple Puncti, Snappy for the Olive Insero & Aqua Signum (maybe the 2nd dose of the cure!), Laura for the Lime Sagitta, & Andi for the Violet Geminus.

Cor' I haven't been on this forum in... Too long! It's great to see some familiar faces here :)

Also, I've started a new pocket frogs game since I was last here and I am currently attempting to collect 100% of Sol's. Knowing what a kind community you all are, I thought I'd come back here and hopefully stay a while :)

I'll gladly send some froggies your way if you can help out!

    Thanks

    THANKS x111

    Hi,

I have not been very timely in posting my thanks for the many gifts I have received. I tried to respond with gifts, but it has not been an equal exchange. I am going with the shortened list, but please know that each and every frog has been appreciated:

    andinz1970 x30
    laurafitz4 x19
    domenic15 x11
    SnappyMcfrog x13
javaRich x27 (including the SuperHeroes and LaserBeams sets!!)
Nirtew x1 (it was the Signum that I desperately needed)
    danjarus x5
    julesfish x5

I have received 111 frogs in 35 different patterns in less than 4 weeks since I joined this forum. Specials thanks to domenic15 for pointing me to this forum (he responded to a request on another site). Otherwise I would still be waiting for a Signum to appear in the FrogMart. Without understanding how it works, I had requested new sets well beyond my current level and was stuck. Now I am working on completing the weekly sets in reverse order. It all started when my younger daughter (who no longer plays) suggested I get PocketFrogs on my iPod for my granddaughter. Once she lost interest I transferred the game to my iPad. Now I need only 2,930 more frogs to get that last award! But I must slow my pace and resume my other favorite pastime. In fact, the local library just issued a missing reader alert! So I am going to retreat to a remote corner of the pond for a while. I will drop back by if I have any achievements to report.

    Once again, THANKS.
