While I was leisurely playing *vs.* avidly dexing, you were all throwing adorable froggies my way. You pelted me with everything from Anuras to Signum to scenery, day after day, month after month, for almost a year. You stuffed my mailbox with things I was too lazy, too much of a lackadaisical neer-do-well to breed or find. And so, ladies & gentlemen, after moving a Tangelo Callaina Signum to a hab, I received a message this morning, quite unexpectedly, that YOU (via your proxy [i.e. my account]) had won the Froggydexter 4 Award! [ pre-cued confetti & balloon drop no more baloons!] Yes, the final award & YOU did it. Your dedication & never-say-die devotion has borne fruit. So, my congratulations to each & every one of you for filling this mere vessel (<--my PF game) with the fruits of your labor because of your inexplicably inexhaustible, unwavering abundance of generosity. As John Paul Jones most famously said, I have not yet begun to fight! And I would add, most appropriately, As IF! No dreams of glory here, no aspirations for 100%, no moxie from this proxy. This is what happens when you can't decide what to dex next: This is an idea for a weekly set. It's called "who's who" and consists of, from left to right, a White Picea Veru, Black Albeo Clunicula, White Picea Zebrae, and White Albeo Calyx. I could have added White Albeo Mixtus and White Picea Marmorea, but the striped feet give it away.

New here Hi all, You guys are amazing! What a thread! Been playing pocket frogs for a few weeks (my 16 year old little sisters fault!!). Congratulations Lisianne! I'm not even halfway there! But I've somewhat resigned myself to be the one always trying to catch up in every area there is to excel in this game.
Thank you, but... You are all most gracious in your thanks but it really isnt false modesty on my part to ascribe my success in reaching 5,000 to all of you here. PF is simply a diversion for me (replaced Koi Pond for relaxation big clue there!) & Ive never had a focused goal. One has only to look at my habs to understand there is NO organization whatsoever. Need more proof? Im still in the middle of Level 30, same as when I returned. The only time I considered giving up the game was when my MB was eternally stuffed which interfered with the fun of discovery of frogs & scenery in the pond. Plus I felt constantly under stress to reciprocate appropriately, frog for frog, & in a timely fashion (not a written or unwritten rule anywhere but in Lisi-land, I know). Thats when I took I break, to see if I wanted to continue as a forum member or not. Thats why when I returned I said I was adding no new friends for a while & I havent. Why I said Id moderate my gifting & I have. You can accept or except me take your pick. Consider me like someone whos just wandered into the Twilight Zone, completely unsuspecting, more than a bit befuddled. Im amazed at having found such a delightful place, nonplussed by what motivates many of you, still realizing all the while that Im totally out of my element. Im here for the wrong reasons. I was just seeking a nice zen-like game but found some compelling camaraderie along the way which draws me like a magnet. Absent the virtual friendships, I would have left long ago for trading & collecting are just not my thing. p.s.: Almost too many thanks to type but I will prevail!
