If you're looking for humor, move along Serious post, guys. Nothing funny or vaguely amusing about this. It's about my inherent sense of fairness which is quite central to who I am. It is my touchstone, my compass. In mid-August, I posted a query in a different thread here on TouchArcade which was begun by NimbleBit, bears its name, & had offered me support in the past.* I was searching for a solution for a problem which a good friend had developed with PF. Most people in that thread were helpful but one person ended up treating me with disrespect & disdain. I wrote one final post then left that thread. End of story? Not quite. The other thread dried up & this person (I'll refer to as "he" for simplicity's sake), began popping up here once a week, week after week, seeking the Weekly Set. He has done this like clockwork, even this week, with what I have often experienced as a sense of entitlement. It isn't that he is unable to breed the sets, it's that it's easier for him to get freebies here then disappear for another week. Has he ever offered to give back? Yes, once, he posted the generic "if you need anything" message in one of his posts but never left his username if one DID need something. Does he participate here at other times, thus contributing his insight, experience, even wit to the forum? Not at all. I will assume he reciprocates when someone sends him something but I don't know for certain. This is a great forum full of wonderful, generous, unselfish people. I guess I take it personally when I find someone blatantly taking advantage of others' hard work & willingness to help. Week after week after week after week, etc. I will now apologize for hijacking this thread with this post to expose a personal struggle I'm having. Essential fairness is my issue. It just seems sadly & painfully ironic that someone who couldn't bother to help me in another thread without disparaging remarks now asks for help here on a weekly basis. *My inability to find a solution to my friend's problem led me to the NB Support Site where I have tried ever since to help people with their issues.
Your incredibly rude, ignorant post is totally insane to me. Not only have you reawakened a dormant issue, you're criticizing my "fairness" despite the fact that I pay back everyone and anyone who sends frogs to me. First, explain to me how you got to the conclusion that I come here WEEK AFTER WEEK begging for the newest weekly set? Certainly no one else here could uphold that claim, because I do not come here week after week begging for the newest weekly set. Moving on to the biggest issue: whether it's shortbus, Dom, Quo, Nirtew, Snappy, or anybody else I trade with on this forum, I MAKE SURE TO PAY THEM BACK. I appreciate their help with the new weekly sets every week while I catch up previous sets (as it stands, I still have about 10-15 sets to catch up on- and I DO breed them myself). If they send something my way, I send something else right back. HOWEVER, I must admit that I haven't been sending out frogs too constantly recently, as I have a lot of work to attend to and don't have as much time to dedicate to the game, but that DOES NOT mean I just totally ignore the kind people here that send frogs to me. I will be giving back to Snappy this weekend for the set he sent me recently, as well as dlstar. I have ceased trades with Quo, Nirtew, and a few others as I simply don't have the time to breed and gift frogs, but if they should send me any more frogs in the near future, I will definitely go out of my way to return the favor. Attacking me for being "unfair" is an attack to every single other user in this thread that helps others out when they need it. Shame on you. What I see in your post here is no different than your posts in the PF thread. If you have forgotten what happened, here's a brief summary: You came on complaining about Plus+ failing to transfer over a saved game over devices for your friend. Many have had that issue, so I started off by suggesting a basic fix to the problem. You said you already tried it and it didn't work, and your next couple posts proceeded to become an incredibly ignorant rant against the developers, Nimblebit. I attempted to give you a different perspective to get you to stop wrongfully criticizing NB, and instead, you were blinded in your anger and started attacking me, as well! You are quite an intelligent, articulate person, as your vivid posts in this thread show clearly, but unfortunately, you are an outrageously ignorant, selfish individual that gets too caught up in your frustration and anger. And for your information, should I be in need of further weekly sets, I will continue to ask the extremely generous people here, despite the fact that you'll probably come up with another asinine conclusion that I'm some selfish, lazy person.

Hi. I just started playing Pocket Frogs yesterday. I feel like I'm late to the party. I have one question and since I couldn't find a general PF thread, I thought this would be a good place to ask. I have the frog that is currently listed in Frog Request, but the send button stays disabled. How do I turn it in for the request? The frog is tamed and 100% happy, if that matters somehow.
The only things that matter when sending in request frogs is that the main color, sub-color and type match, AND that it is fully grown (mature). Could it be that the frog you bred needs more time? The only ways to speed that up are potions or by eating flies @ the pond (they don't even need to be tamed to turn in).
