Digression & True iPhone story: yesterday I was in a coffee shop sipping my beverage du jour & in comes a young lady. Hard to tell which was shorter, her skirt or her attention span. Anyway, she went up to place an order while texting on a white iPhone & someone asked, "Is that the new iPhone?" Distracted & flattered by the attention, she replied, "Yes, just got it today! I replaced my previous phone which was broken." Then, in neutrino-measured time, plop!, her iPhone fell on the floor. With not a tinge of alarm on her face, she bent over to pick it up & added with a perky smile, "OK, first iPhone drop of the day!" Gotta love it! p.s.: Incoming froggies galore! Had I played PF a bit later in the day but still before 12 p.m., I could have quipped: "Mourning Becomes Elektra117's flood of gifts." Seriously, my MB & MBs for generations to come are filled to overflowing with his/her (gotta love & be puzzled by this anonymity thing) frogs. Everything from Marinus to Corona & almost everything in between. Thanks so very much. What you don't know about me is I am inordinately lazy, a veritable PF-taming sloth. One gift, if that, per diem is about all I can handle. Still, I appreciate gifts & all from a stratospheric Level 42 player at that. Do you realize how long it will take me to get to that level? As if! p.s.: This in no way minimizes the wonderful & not-yet-dexed gifts from laurafitz4, Quo, & Shasta. You can "Take that to the bank," as they say(OK, OK, not those which have most unfortunately folded, but still...)
Morning all, having a great start to the day - 28 stamps in the pond whilst taming triviums and calvaria's, add those to the ten I got from the daily gift yesterday, another 20-30 in the pond and a 22 stamp request frog redeemed my stamp population is booming! Will be sending out frogs to people soon My thank you list for the last couple of days includes domenic, andi, laurafitz, jklau, quossom, khasahara, snappy, ossim, maholah, danjarus, nirtew, warchin, lisianne, javarich, and deankeith, many of you more than once. I only have 3 of the black triviums to finish growing up and then if anyone still needs them I can send out a couple of starter sets. hope everyone enjoys what's left of the weekend, cheers, Obs ps - on a side note, I have a real frog living in my laundry sink again - it had disappeared for a couple of months during the dry weather but after the awesome storms we had last night and Friday night it's come back! Hey guys, I wanted to say thanks heaps for all the gifts, especially andinz as I have received countless from you. Thanks also to anyone who has gifted me recently, lisianne, SnappyMcFrog, LauraFitz, dlstar & jklau. I'm so sorry about the fact I haven't sent many gifts recently, as I have been very (alright, TOO) focused on leveling up, and expanding my habitats. It applies to every habitat you have. As soon as you buy it, you may put eggs in any habitat. This includes habitats added after buying the babyproofing kit. Now that all I have left to do is 'dex and the weekly sets, the babyproofing is absolutely invaluable. I love it! --Q

You are most welcome. Have had an awesome weekend. The RWC is still on, and our ALL BLACKS have tonight just beaten one of our closest rivals, Australia, by 20 points to 6, to make it into the FINAL. It's been 24 years since we last won this tournament, in spite of having the best team in the world. We're up against France but we already beat them by 20 points earlier in the tournament. Yay! Any chance we can see a pic of your froggy friend?
Yes, I know they did. And being an Australian I'm none too pleased about it. But even as far as rivalry goes between the two teams, I would rather the all blacks win then France. But then I guess it won't make it to a half century...
