Frogs v. Statistics Hello everyone..today has been a match between pocket frogs v. stats homework, guess who won? This game is hard to stay away from! Wanted to thank domenic15, dlstar, jklau, andinz1970 and dean288367 for the gifts received this morning. Biplex is a favorite (as well as Insero). Domenic sent a Bulbus (2 thanks!) which is how I met Lisianne and Quossum some time ago in a prior lifetime while searching for a Bulbus. At level 12, so the Bulbus and this week's set will have to wait. Leaving for work tomorrow through Monday..I wish everyone a great weekend!
Wish PF had a "Kill" (OK, maybe a more PC-like, "Changed my mind") button for frogs we mistakenly receive as dupes. BTW, I received no dupes or trips (tho' I was hoping for a free one to France - I'd bring my on ketchup, bien sûr). The Starter Set you sent me will be ready to go out the day after tomorrow. It would be nice to know whom NOT to send it to. So far I know Snappy, Mahola, & Dom have received the set. Any clues as to who might need it? Know that you are currently one who can't breed at that level so I can send you the other 2 Bulbus frogs in a couple of days. 'K by you? I am one of shortbus's happy and grateful weekly set giftees, so no need for the set frogs from me. What a cute set this week! They really are putting some clever ones out there. Thanks also to dean, Nirtew, andinz, dlstar, danjarus, Snappy, jklau, and hakeh for gifts this week. Lanterna is going slowly due to busy-ness at work and home, but I am churning them out. Next, continuing with the creepy theme, will be Calvaria. Knock on wood, I've never had the gift problems some of you have seen. My only "problem" is a full mailbox! Sometimes I wait patiently for frogs to deliver, other times I go crazy and buy them all out. --Q
Can't do it. Can't bring myself to spend 6 (or even 5) stamps on myself. In extremis, I may spend 4 but I have to be really desperate. Not that I don't have enough stamps to trade, I do. Am the same way with potions with the glaring exception of breeding for Request frogs which I use up to 9 potions on, if need be. Meanwhile, I was thinking that if NB introduced Promo frogs in a big way (last 5 Weekly Sets), what's to keep them from using them in Request Frogs? After all, one can always decline a request but if you can't finish or do a set, you're stuck there until the next set is released, then you're stuck again. Guess it's a good way to get people to buy/use potions on these frogs in the FrogMart either way. p.s.: Have a super weekend, all! I have also been a happy recipient of Shortbus's generous set gifting this week. Thank you to all my trading friends for the recent gifts. Have kind of slipped into dexing Mixtus, as you've probably noticed, but not going to go hard-out at it until the rugby's done. Couple of big upsets in the RWC last night, with England and Ireland sent packing. Hope the same doesn't happen to us when we play Argentina tonight!
Many thanks to all the gifters that sent a Magus my way previously. Note, I always receive gifts as duplicates . I thought it odd at first but I believe its related to the slow satellite link I use. I have noticed other plus+ features dont quite work right due to the ever present 800ms delay. I have no problems what-so-ever with it; its a great $$$ boost.
Does anyone have a White Callaina Arbor? For a return frog I can offer any Bulbus or Signum growing in my habitats now.
